“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a great experience at Sahara Grill and wanted to give special mention to Abdur Rahman, who served us. He was very professional and, for a trainee, did an excellent job. He was attentive in a calm, subtle way, checking in on us during the meal and making sure we were comfortable without interrupting the experience. Little thoughtful touches showed his awareness and good service, which really helped us feel relaxed. Food-wise, everything was enjoyable, but the Angus short rib was a standout – absolutely a hit and easily the highlight of the meal. Overall, a very positive experience. Credit to Abdur Rahman and the team.”

I’ve been coming here since I was a young teenager, and now in 2025, I can 100% say it’s still the best Lebanese food in London! What really makes it special is the warmth and hospitality, especially from Hassan, who’s basically family to us now. He’s always there with a smile, treating us with such kindness and making sure we have the best time. The recent refurbishment has made the place even more inviting, and the food is as delicious as ever. If you want top-notch Lebanese cuisine and a place where you’re treated like family, Al Arez is the place to go!”

“Busy pub, always has a full crowd during the week They have a nice layout in a big airy room around a corner bar. Pub has upstairs area with pool tables payable by the hour. The rear has an outside area for those that love inhaling and exhaling smoky products. The Charlotte has a nice drink friendly food menu with four types of loaded fries. There are other meal options from fish and chips to vegan plant burgers. Quite trendy, not a young crowd The pub does show sports but it doesn’t dominate. Screens are up on the roof”

“One of my go to when I can’t be bothered to cook. Chicken fried nicely and you get chilli and mayo spread on your chips if you request it. Also the wraps are nice and the pizzas taste lovely at a great price. Bought the 10 piece chicken and chips for £14.50 - comes with coleslaw as well.”

“I went to this restaurant with some friends and we were here for 5 hours! I chose this restaurant out of the other west African restaurants because they do not use Crayfish and every African restaurant seems to use it. Auntie was so kind and endearing, she was very funny also! The night ended with a wonderful discussion and rather heating discussion in a good way it was nice to have the restaurant with ourselves to converse with auntie I had Nkanenskwan with emu too, red red and plantain. It was very filling and delicious, the spice kicks the throat really quickly! I do plan to come back again it was just so cosy, cultural and nice”

“Experience a very good meal! My mother and I ordered mutton cubes with rice, and a boneless roasted whole chicken. The portion of the meal was so full that we finally packed almost half of it back to the hotel to eat (the packing box is free!) The clerks are friendly. The food is served very quickly. There is no compulsory tips.”

“They’ve done refurbishment both inside and out, but the food is still as tasty as before. We were a party of 7 and ordered one family grill and a large mixed grill with two dishes of Calamari. Their freezer got broken and no desserts were available except Baklava and rice pudding. It was very disappointing, but they gave us free Baklava and Turkish tea. I love Baklava. There are hit and miss sometimes, but it was so good that I ate three pieces! Carolina waited on us with honesty and great care. She is wonderful. I highly recommend the place.”

“Went to Lavash for Sunday lunch food served was Persian which included as starters a cheese dip an aurbergine dip a fresh salad and mushrooms we were served with this fresh flat bread which was being baked on the premises. Very healthy and fresh. For mains we shared between 12 of us lamb shanks served with Persian rice a chicken dish and a grilled fish. All this was also very healthy They served alcohol but I liked the selection of fresh juices which h included carrot, carrot celery and apple and a few others. The only thing I was not happy with was desert which was apple crumble but found it far too sweet but on the whole was pleased with the service and the food.”
