“We ordered Uber eats today from this place for the first time, and we were really impressed with the food quality and the size of the proportions. Together with the 2 English breakfasts we ordered 2 bacon baguettes, and because they didn't have baguettes bread, they sent it over 2 bacon buns for each one of us, which was very thoughtful and kind of them. “Le Bon Cafe, a popular spot for breakfast is an unsuspecting Moroccan restaurant which I have been meaning try. Finally went in but didn't try the Moroccan dishes as planned but will revisit again another time. To be fair, the Moroccan menu had a good range of the usual suspects like the tangine, pancakes and briwat. It seems the breakfast is more popular possibly because it is cheaper than the Moroccan dishes. I had the American pancakes with salmon and scrambled egg which was how it should be. It was served stacked which was quite different and the pancakes were thick and soft unlike the supermarket ones which you can buy. Will return for the Moroccan dishes so I can compare it to the ones at Shepherds bush which are a third cheaper.”

The staff are down to earth, helpful and add a vibrant splash of colour to the place, those they come into contact with love them. “This is the best café/greasy spoon in the whole of south London. I say south London because I can’t comment on what cafés in other areas of London alike.. The owner is an amazing gentleman he is kind hospitable warm and welcoming. It is a comfortable service from start to end. He’s very attentive fantastic for families. Fantastic for builders fantastic for mums who just wanna have a cup of tea and a catch up. Or even if you’re going in for a hangover breakfast! This place is for everybody there are vegetarian halal and of course the traditional pork options. I myself eat halal food whilst my husband does not eat halal food and we both were able to have an exceptional meal. Cafés like this are the last of a dying breed this place is real community!”
