“I hired the Grand Suite at the New Inn for my 60th birthday party with 110 guests. Everything was perfect! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Thanks especially to Aimee who ensured I was able to set up decorations etc. early in the day. The room is beautiful with a lovely big dance floor and nice big tables with plenty of seats. The food was delicious and plenty of it. The bar staff were friendly and efficient. Great air conditioning in the main room on a very hot night was very welcome! My guests were all extremely impressed with the venue. Thank you all the staff for making everything work out so well - brilliant!”

“Lovely little oasis of calm in the shopping centre. I’ve been twice; had a jacket potato and a baguette and both were very fresh and tasty; lovely oat cappuccino; friendly and swift service; clean tables and seating areas and good value for money. “They have a toddler group that starts at 10:30, with singing, stories and crafts. Brook cafe is a welcoming environment that my kids love to play in, there are toys for little ones to play with. The food tastes great and is reasonably priced. The cafe closes at 2 and is open on Thursdays.”

“Obsessed with this place. Ordered take away a few times now and every time it’s delicious. I get the prawns with chilli and it’s the most delicious addictive taste. The chow mein is unreal. They sent me a really beautiful bamboo calendar with my order too which I’m in love with. Just the best!”

“Shanar, Page and Angel were amazing. The vibes were perfect for a Wetherspoons — social, welcoming and outgoing. Even though the security was a bit hostile, the team completely changed the atmosphere. Mr. Hostile is clearly good at his job, just very… well, hostile — hence the name. But the ladies were incredibly accommodating and accepting. The banter was 10/10, and they’ve got a brilliant team overall. Big shout-out to the manager, Shanar — she’s brilliant. Apologies if I’ve spelt the name wrong!”

“Not from the area and stopped for lunch at this place. The owner and the team were so friendly and helpful (they explained they had run out of till roll for my receipt, so emailed me - then checked I had the email). The food was delicious and the portions big. All in all, great value - we had 3x mains, 2x sides and 3 drinks for £48. Also, it was really clean and well kept. Strongly recommend this place - we will come back!”
