“Great cafe in Streatham, Portuguese and Spanish vibes, live music too! Love the cappuccino and cortado, the “Pastel de Nata” is amazing For the sweet stuff: The orange and almond cake is not to be missed too, proper homemade greatness. It’s close to the train station so ideal to grab a takeaway but also to stay in with a trendy interior and unique tables and chairs. The coffee is really good here but the food is great too. As for savoury treats, I have tired the cheese and tomato croissant and the toasties as well as the fries. All really nice and delicious. I have been a customer for many years and will be for many to come. 100% recommended!!”
“Been here a couple times now; lovely food and friendly staff. I think I'll be coming here more often.”
“Primrose Hill Café offers a cozy atmosphere with delicious food and great coffee. Neville, the staff member, was very friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. A lovely spot to relax and enjoy a meal or drink in a charming setting.”
“I’ve been here many times and it never disappoints. Always the friendliest staff. Delicious coffee and breakfast. And nice big tables and comfortable seating. The local artwork is also really lovely. ✨ ✨”
“This is an amazing looking place. Completely unique. The nexus is interesting and everything is reasonably priced, especially considering its location. Ate here today. Quirky relaxed dining area, with reasonably priced food for the location.”
“Very nice food. Lovely lady behind the counter kept calling me “my darling.” Highly recommended!!”
“Best coffee for miles around. Regular customer for over 10 years can't fault it, tasty custards (make sure you ask for a crispy one) and sandwiches. You can also grab Portuguese products. Can get noisy and busy at times, especially on the weekends.”
“Charming café on the second floor of the Greenwich Waterstones. A cozy place to sit and calmly enjoy your coffee!”
“Great little cafe, very community orientated. Friendly staff, nice menu, lovely surroundings too. Highly recommended, nice background music, good quality of food and drinks, really impressed. If ever I'm passing again, I'll be sure to return.”
“Very good breakfast served until late, reasonable prices, friendly staff and pleasant terrace. Ticks all the boxes!”
“I don't often travel to this part of London. The nunnery is unusually in an alley on the route to the park. Also attached to the gallery. You can eat in or out in the alley beneath their large pink umbrellas. Simple snacks, hot drinks, and more. I enjoyed the street feel ambience, bunting and light installation. There is plenty of seating inside, along with a small shop, disabled access, and a toilet. Staff are friendly and quite rightly being strict in adhering to Covid restrictions. We (the customers) also need to be patient and understanding that we are still in a pandemic. Generally, a relaxed atmosphere.”
“Was planning on going to the popular cafe next door but the line was over 2 hours and so we decided to to give this place a go as the food looked good and it was busy but no queue. Very happy that we did as it was a lovely breakfast. The full English had everything you could want and was fresh. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict was lovely too. Amazing bubble and squeak. Don’t bother waiting in the queue for next door. Come here!”
“Owner has been serving for years with great experience, great staff leading to great cafe food and extras. Definitely recommended if your looking for breakfast or lunch and happen to be in the area. Perfect spot for locals and workmen alike”
“A great little find. Friendly staff and good coffee.”
“Really unique and cute cafe truck, offers simple food choices, they have jacket potatoes, panini, bagels and some rice dishes. Their carrot cakes look very nice too. There are seats by the riverside and a bridge that can rotate 360 degrees, a hidden gem in London. I had the tuna olive cheese panini, it was okay for the price I paid, the staffs were very friendly.”
“Best coffee and croissant in London.”
“A little gem of a place! Sweet & Sour chicken is absolutely delicious & good value for money. I always try to visit when I'm in London”
“Had a lovely breakfast here, the best around and at a very decent price. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, will definitely be back again!”
“Wonderful Breakfast Experience! Visited with my family last Sunday, and it was absolutely delightful. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The café was super clean, which added to the pleasant ambiance. We started with an Americano coffee , and you could immediately tell they use high-quality beans—rich and flavorful. My son thoroughly enjoyed the hot chocolate, which was smooth and perfectly prepared. The hash browns were crispy and delicious, probably some of the best we’ve had. Everything we ordered was spot on, and the experience couldn’t have been more perfect. Highly recommend this café for anyone looking for a relaxed, family-friendly breakfast spot. We’ll definitely be back!”
“It has been such a lovely experience. My husband and I really enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious, the service was perfect and the environment was incredible, we loved the live music. The perfect romantic birthday dinner. I hope I will be back soon. So far the best experience I had in London after many years. Thank you.”
“So on "Dia de Muertos" and having been made up as calaveras for the Columbia Road Day of the Dead festival.nearby, where else to head but a Mexican restaurant? Google directed us to nearby Santo Remedio, which turned out to be a good choice. The manager welcomed us warmly and managed to fit in our party of three in between bookings. Our friendly waitress Olivia was great too, explaining how the veggie dishes could be adapted to be vegan with vegan cheese substitutes so everyone in our group was able to enjoy the food. The food itself was very flavourful. We chose butternut squash tacos, hibiscus and cactus quesadillas, and black bean side (hold the cheese for vegan version), and the lovely refreshing hibiscus agua fresca drink. The place has a fun friendly vibe, just right for a Saturday night evening with friends.”
“Food at CafeGenic is delicious. Food is fresh and everything is made from scratch. The tahine sauce with a touch of sweet is simply divine. The staff is always smiling and the chefs are always attentive to your request. The whole experience in Cafegenic is amazing. Just what you need on a Sunday morning.”
“Very cosy place , we spend such a great time! Food was outstanding, thanks to Antoneta for recommending seared Tuna (outstanding) and pinsa romana , very light and tasty ! For sure will come back”
“My experiences at the Rusty Bike Cafe are BLISSFUL. The food is absolutely DELICIOUS (I recommend the soup with fresh Artisan bread) and the prices are remarkably reasonable (£4 for a generous quantity). The employees are all volunteers and are incredibly sweet. It is nice to sit outside in the summer and inside during the winter. Guaranteed you will leave with a happy belly and a smile on your face.”
“An absolute gem. I feel this has to be one of the secret locations in Harrow as it is so easy to miss. Situated next to Harrow Weald Bus Garage opposite Lidl. I highly recommend their breakfast, hot dogs and my daughters think that their milkshakes are better than McDonalds. Great outside area for when it is warmer too. Friendly staff and a delicious menu.”
“Positioned right on the river Thames. Sit and enjoy an ice cream or coffee and light lunch. On a beautiful day it's heaven to sit there and then stroll into Kingston or Surbiton. Great selection of vegan items”
“If you're near Kingston, you absolutely must stop by this wonderful cafe. It manages to combine cosy comfort with a level of presentation that turns lunch into a visual feast. The moment you walk in, you understand why people rave about the food selection. Everything from the vibrant salads and freshly prepared "baked" is meticulously displayed. It’s a true "eat with your eyes" experience, where the colours and textures are right there in front of you, making choosing a delicious challenge. But the real, undisputed star of the show is their Lemon-Ginger Honey Tea. It’s the perfect blend of sharp, sweet, and warming, a drink that instantly resets your day. Sometimes I genuinely only visit just for this tea alone, staff is always friendly and would add extra ginger or honey.”
“We went here to celebrate the end of the school term and we had a great time, we come here regularly so they gave us free chicken wings. Overall great experience, 10/10”
“Have popped in a couple of times by myself when working from home and wanted a walk/something different for lunch. Always very pleasant staff. Varied menu. Nice decor. Quick service (particularly one time when had forgotten I had an appointment to rush off to). Sometimes have special offers/menus. Not a coffee drinker but tried teas and other offers.”
“LoPeto Is a little Cafe haven in Priory Gardens Park where you can enjoy the best coffee and cake surrounded by the beauty of this historic park. Ideal for friend's and family or if you just want to have some yourself. The staff are friendly, especial Gil who will always greet you with a happy smile !”
