“Have been here many times in last few years. Kate was made well food and nice place for us. Highly recommended her cafe.”
“Lovely place with a great vibe! The coffee was perfect, and the food were fresh and tasty. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere — definitely coming back!”
“Located in a quite spot, this place has its own parking so no hassles when you arrive. The menu options are well laid, with table service as standard. The staff is really helpful and polite. I visited with family and was pleasantly surprised that nothing we asked for was too much for them - baby chair, veg options, or tweaking the sandwich that little bit extra. Other than the excellent food, there is a charity hut at the rear garden. You can contribute at the main desk when you come in to the cafe.”
“Had a fantastic meal here last night with friends, fantastic food and drinks selection.. and our waitress/host Meg was so accommodating nothing was to much trouble for her . Will definitely come again”
“Food excellent Service excellent and very friendly”
“Amazing vegan cafe! The Mozz sandwich is unbelievably good, freshly made, delicious vegan cakes and pastries, really cool refil shop and always lovely staff that are friendly and welcoming.”
“The food is amazing, much better than most restaurants, seriously!”
“There are always sooo many pumpkins here ! Lots of space to park so no need to worry about where to park! A whole range of pumpkins to choose from , lots of different sizes and colours There is a hose to wash down your pumpkins if its really muddy Delicious coffee and hot chocolate at the cutest little cafe Great for kids and families!”
“Haven't been in for ages, last time was not long after it had opened. Friendly staff. Had the I think deluxe hot chocolate that comes with a cake. I chose a biscoff cupcake. Both the drink and cake were amazing.”
“Lovely little kiosk cafe situated in a quiet corner of a peaceful memorial park. Food was very enjoyable and at very competitive prices. Although card payments are accepted, we personally used cash as this is a small business and card fees can be costly to them. Thank you and see you again soon.”
“I’ve just had a very lovely breakfast at the Junction Cafe (KCC): the sausage bacon and egg were cooked to perfection, the baked beans and mushrooms were delicious. It also came with toast and leaves and tomatoes. All in all it was value for the £6 I paid. It also came with option to add bacon, sausages and eggs if required and I will be returning as often a time allows. Thank you all At the Junction. The junction has a large free car park and wheelchair access: a great venue”
“Hubby & I stopped for breakfast this morning at this great little community cafe. It was easy to find inside the very modern main building beside a large car park and with easy level access to the outside patio seating area. Inside tables were also available. The sun was out and there were plenty of people walking their dogs on the footpaths around what looks to be a a peaceful wooded area with plenty of nature trees. We ordered beans on toast, crumpets, and a pot of tea for two. The food was very good and we even had a top up in our teapot! Lovely! Great value for money at £8.90 :) Nice to meet you ladies, keep up the good work :)”
“Lovely ambience with warm seating inside a wing of the church or outside in the old graveyard. Lovely friendly service, excellent toasties, coffee/tea and cakes. Don't walk past!”
“A Great day out, cafe provides good food cooked to order. The brick museum is very informative, please there are loads of things you wouldn't think you would see. There is also a little train you can go on, if you add gift aid you get a free ride.”
“I stopped in here while waiting for my car to get serviced. Very clean, tasty and well presented food, friendly service and great attention to detail. Thanks.”
“I love this cafe. There is one member of staff who does my head in moaning all the time so I limit the number of times I go in on a Friday. Otherwise the staff are so kind and caring. They noticed I was upset the other day and they took the time to ask me if there was anything they could do and I said you cant bring my friend back but I would love one of your delicious bbq bacon burgers. Their burgers are so good I dont get them from Burger King or McDonalds i always get my burger at the boat shop. I also love their omelets and there ain't no better for a full english breakfast that is also disabled accessible as I am in a wheelchair and they always make space for me. I was sick once with my epilepsy and jean was on her way home she stopped to help me and I will always love her and be thankful for that. But it is nice to have somewhere nice to go when you like me and live on your own where you are welcome and safe to be there on your own. Enjoy a.lugh with the music on the radio because I'm a singer. Anna once said to me you can sing along but no getting on the tables. It was just fun and on that particular day I was having problems with my PTSD and my depression I went in and had a delicious meal and a laugh. I am always thankful for that. So even if like me you on your own ttavelling through it is literally 5 minutes walk from the train station at woolston so ideally located.”
“Excellent food, ambiance and the service was particularly good and attentive. A good range on the menu and handle covid dining with ease. Couldn't fault them.”
“Lovely little cafe, with a great selection of food to choose from. 2 breakfast baps, full English and veggie breakfast ( happy to substitute hash browns for egg) on our table and they were all Lovely.”
“Great tasting food, very reasonably priced, fast delivery. Proper banging grub.”
“Good cafe, prices a little pricey but not terrible”
“Lovely all day breakfast, good value for money. Friendly staff, quick service.”
“I go there multiple times through out the week with my friends and reasoning for keep going back is simply because it is such an enjoyable club! Staff there are brilliant and always so friendly and welcoming , music and vibe never fails to disappoint in either of the 2 rooms they have! And well the roof terrace I adore it’s so cosy and pretty up there perfect to go relax in and have a little chat with people under the heaters! Can’t recommend enough!!”
“Was lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay at this beautiful hotel. The team at Limewood are attentive, friendly and really make you feel at home! A very luxurious countryside stay with top facilities and high quality, seasonal food and drink..Loved the cosy fires throughout the hotel and it was a nice touch that you could hire a DVD for the room..a blast from the past! Thank you again for the hospitality and a memorable stay!”
“Great breakfast, food was cooked beautifully. Had two veggie breakfasts, mint tea and Avo GO Go smoothie, highly recommend.”
“Wow. Had never been before and went off a trusted friend's recommendation. We had the most lovely evening. They were so accommodating of the fact im in a wheelchair; the restaurant is accessible (however the bathrooms are a little trickier! Thankfully I can walk a little though so it was no issue) My first impression was how homely and welcoming the place was. Then I noticed the cleanliness! Everything was immaculate and looked brand new! We were greeted in and welcomed warmly. The ambience was perfect and the background music was beautiful. Each course came out and was absolutely superb. The starters were actually some of the best food I've ever eaten - we had scallops, duck mousse and the snails - all perfectly cooked and seasoned with the perfect accompaniments. As we sat, enjoying our meal, the restaurant busied and the staff gave the same amount of warmth and service to everyone - greeting many customers like old friends (we assume this means they get a lot of repeat customers!) My husband ordered the cheese board and we were delighted when an entire platter, with an array of cheese was brought out. The waiter asked my husband his taste in cheese and then proceeded to recommend cheeses he thought would be right. He went through the board with such knowledge of the various cheeses and was spot on with every single one he suggested: my husband loved them all! The bathrooms were the cleanest public bathrooms I've ever been in! And this is gonna sound absolutely crazy but it's the first toilet I've ever been to that has really decent toilet roll!! I've stayed in 5 star hotels around the world and never rate the toilet roll but for some of us, well, it's important OK!! There was no pretentiousness and people were dressed in an array of clothing - from smart casual, to a little dressier; so you only need dress up if you feel you want to (we did!) The bill, although a little eye watering, was worth the price completely. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. The portions sizes were more generous than we had expected and we left after 3 courses from their set menu feeling full and very happy! We will 100% be back and highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys fine dining, in comfortable surroundings with all the warmth and personality that you'd expect from an independent family run business.”
“Great take away experience We decided to try food from here and had a lovely range of treats. We went for some humus, falafel, spicy sausages and the sharing mixed grill meze, with plenty of bread included. The food was very well packed and tasted very fresh and flavoursome. The falafel were rather large and a little dry but overall everything was delicious. Lots of food, with a 20% discount bonus for take away service. A great choice and definite addition to our selection of eat out meals... many thanks Baraca”
“Delicious, quirky cafe with a lovely 50’s theme decoration. Food was exquisite and the coffee was excellent. Vegan and vegetarian options available, which are always appreciated! Very good sound track as well and the staff was very friendly. I’m definitely coming back when in this part of the world again! My eggs florentine were novel and delicious!”
“Great food and super friendly service HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place”
“My third visit here in 7 years. I ordered the soup was was told it would be a 35 minute wait. The member of staff saw my disappointment and offered me a complimentary drink because I didn't have enough time to complete my stay. I was very impressed with the service and mulled wine.”
“Food was amazing, staff very friendly, not badly priced, would recommend.”
