“This place surely isn't the biggest or most privately contained cafe in a hospital, but that really is the beauty of it. Run by volunteers, these people were wonderful to talk to, and not only to see them with the choice to dedicate this time, but simply considering how long some have lived for (e.g. age 92), and how good their health is. Onto the actual cafe! The price of food here from sandwiches to cafe drinks is the type of reasonable I am expecting and am so happy to see, when comparing to such, including the Costa in the hospital. In my opinion that includes the range of cakes, biscuits and bars too! Having my [veg] sandwhich toasted made it extra fulfilling, and the cappuccino was super! And it gets better: All profits made, go to a certain division of the hospital. More people should visit this cafe to appreciate the efforts devoted by volunteers here. Hospitals should have more affordable, lovingly run cafe's like this! Obviously that doesn't even have to be as a patient!”

The café area was clean, calm, and well organised. What really stood out was the customer service — friendly, attentive, and professional. A special mention to Michelle and Iwone, who were both welcoming, helpful, and made the visit feel genuinely enjoyable. Great value for money and a nice atmosphere. “As an Italian, I only trust Somalis with coffee outside of my community. Their espresso is perfect, creamy at the right point and as a loyal customer they serve it in a regular cup not a take away cup to drink outside but Iam looking forward that they reopen inside so I can sit and have a chat with the owner. They also sell small Somali snacks, the sambusa is the best of the area and also sell Italian products at very reasonable prices.The whole Somali community makes me feel welcome when I go in their part of Southall ❤”

“I popped in for a coffee as I was delivering just around the corner. The place is small but really nice and it created a really nice atmosphere. I ordered the coffee and a cheese and tuna panini with chillies. Nothing was too much trouble, the communication was great, I had to wait around 5 minutes but I sat and enjoyed my coffee . It was delicious, and when I gave the owner feedback she mentioned that she only uses the best coffee and her passion for the business was brilliant. I would highly recommend , delicious food, brilliant panini, friendly staff and a great coffee shop with a great atmosphere”

“Loved the food and staff were great. Its a cozy little place that has a lot of character. It has a big beer garden and some parking around the place and on the street opposite. Pets are allowed. Prices are reasonable. We had a Chicken Gyros and Roast Ham. They were both really good. Great for families and groups.”

“Came here with work, popped here for a couple pints on my own, staff are very friendly,, pints are icy cold, they WILL! And I mean WILL, look after you, even there locals introduce themselves, lovely bar, nice and chill, good tunes, nice pints, and food to die for, I’ll be popping back from hartlepool just for more food and the banter! 10/10 reccomend! Come here if you can, you really won’t be disappointed!”
