“Very happy with service I received. I had 4 tyres changed along with wheel balance and alignment. The guys were very helpful and accommodating. Also listened to any concerns I had without quibble. I was especially impressed that they actually used a torque wrench when replacing the lug nuts as opposed to just over tightening like most places do! Would definitely use again in the future”

“The only place that was able to sort my air intake issues! After going to 4 garages (one who tried fixing by replacing some sensors and then referring me to an auto electrician that said theres nothing wrong with my electrics, and then seeing someone else who diagnosed and dissappeard and another garage that eneded up calling me saying i need to go to mercedes) I took a friend's referral to trust this garage and they have fixed my car! “Absolutely fantastic service from Ben. 100 percent would recommend. If you are looking for an honest, skilled and reasonably priced mechanic in the area look no further. I contacted Ben a few weeks ago with an issue I had with my parking brake. What started out as a small issue turned out to be a huge job as we discovered more and more bits that needed doing. This issue took multiple attempts to fix with different hiccups along the way but he kept at it and got it resolved. Having watched him work I can say with certainty that he is very knowledgeable and is keen to carry out the work to a perfect standard rather than rush and do the bare minimum. Throughout all my interactions with him he was pleasant and polite and acknowledged all my needs and concerns. “Can't fault Halfords to be honest. They are very reliable and quick with completing jobs. I'm always surprised at how reasonable their prices are and to be fair, I don't think there's really too much of a difference between them and Kwikfit when it comes to general servicing and tyres, BUT Halfords do offer a much greater range of vehicle repairs, parts and consumables. And the one reason why I always choose them is the perks I get from their Motoring Club and the fact that you can spread the cost of repairs and maintenance from 3 months up to a year (depending on your credit status and which plan you choose from the 3 or 4 on offer from Halfords and third party providers that Halfords support for payments). I'm quite pleased with Halfords and for the foreseeable future I guess this bargain hunter is stuck with them... so long as their perks stay good, their work remains infallible and their prices stay right.”
