“Our Pakistani friend took us to Haweli restaurant in Ilford for dinner. We had lamb and chicken curry, lamb biryani, various kebabs, it was delicious, and our first time having Pakistani food, we all loved it. Sumbul provided excellent service. She was very polite and hospitable.”

“It was my first time trying Barberess and honestly it was such a lovely experience. Maria is such a friendly person and so easy to talk to which I feel is definitely needed as a hairdresser. She listened to me when I was explaining how I wanted my hair cut and also added shape to my hair. I will definitely be going back!”

“I have been attending for 5 months and so look forward to my class with our teacher Bittu. He makes the class fun, breaks down the moves and really puts his heart and soul into the sessions with an added touch of humour. The classes are interactive and fun. The routines and songs are changed regularly, to challenge and keep us on our toes (literally) !! Bittu always makes time to go over the basic steps each lesson, and will throw in advanced moves to enable us to realise how much more there is to Bhangra. Look forward to the end of year performance. If you are thinking of joining, don’t think just join !!”

“We went on Wednesday evening, we were greeted with a smile and showed to our table. The staff were extremely friendly and polite, and guide you with the menu. The setting is very nice and parking is easy to find. The food was quite tasty. We got the Calamari, Wings and the Prawn Tempura for starters. For the mains we got the lamb chops, wagyu surf and turf, wagyu sirloin and the wagyu t-bone steak.. and we enjoyed our food. Would I go back there again? YES! Our steaks were amazing and full of flavour,the customer service was amazing, and the overall experience was very personal. So yes, gets a 5 outta 5. Good hidden gem.”

“It’s a nice place. After a week came back for breakfast with daughter. The food is freshly made and delicious. To top it off, the atmosphere is also cozy! Love it. “Had a nice meal here for my Aunts birthday. It was quite busy but not noisy. The fixed price lunch menu was good value. The a la carte looked a bit pricey! I had the ribs my aunt had the salmon. We were served by the delightful Alissa and really enjoyed the food and the ambience. Recommended.”

Trust me this place is a hidden jem.i live in gants hill so typically tried more or less all the restaurants near by.i went bahubali to try south indian dosa which i never tried but they don't serve any more their versatile menu amazed me & my wife.only bit downside was fried rice but its not noticeable which i already mentioned to chef.Their cutleries service style is really good. Only suggestion i can give during operation time close the door and turn on ac and air freshener will be really helpful also if there is wet wipes option available will be extra poit for noticeable. As a comnercialcatering company executive i would like to say if you doing same quality and quantity in business bahubali will rise soon. I forgot to ask the guy and his colleague who served us,they are very helpful and professional. Authorities give them a rise for excellent service. Lots of love and best of luck for the team.”

“Came here for drinks with family and friends later jist before christmas- great drinks and atmosphere, food looked delicious but I never ate anything but my cousin said it was very good pub food. Second time around coming here, will definitely come back when back in town again! Great local spot!”

“This pub always used to be my local but was looking old and tired. They’ve recently had a refurb and honestly it looks great. Service is good, food is tasty and it’s one of the few proper pubs left. Will definitely be my local again. Highly recommend it!”

“Good local Chinese restaurants are on the wane so thank the stars for Mandarin Palace. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous indeed. The service is prompt and courteous. There is parking apparently round the back. The toilets are clean but in need of refurbishment. Celebrating 50 years so 15 per cent off (dining only) up to 31 July 2024! Expensive but worth it. We went to celebrate my daughters 18th. The portions are HUGE so if ordering set menu perhaps order for one less person.”

“First time here with family and we all loved it. We came when it was rather quiet. All the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. All our courses was delicious. The restaurant was clean. Parking available in a nearby carpark free in the evening. Praying facilities also available. Staff also gave free brownie favour to the kids. Will return again.”

Jeeara chicken and paneer for a starter, bombay potatoes,lamb, and vegetable kofta in spinach for mains with naans and roti. The food was fresh, and the portions were a good size.”

“Everything good but faiza the girl work overthere is really rude to customer showing attitude just tell her to be nice and polite to customers as no business can run without customers and staff is there to give good service to peoples not to show them attitude. What will you lose by being nice to customers and we are regular customers we almost come everyday, so just noticed this. Otherwise everything is really good from taste to costumer service from other two girls.”
