“I’ve spent a wonderful evening dining at Gola with my italian friends. The menu proposes a real selection of italian dishes which are excellently reproduced and served in a surprising plate up, as you can see from the pictures. We finally get to try the famous Cacio & Pepe by Gola which didn’t disappoint me and my italian friends. Another must-try is the Orecchiette alle cime di rapa; and as starters the Focaccia, the Fried polenta and the Burrata. We also tasted a bottle of Southern Italian red wine which was kindly suggested by the staff, since the wine selection is pretty good and it was hard to make a choice. The staff and the service in general were very welcoming in respect of true italian tradition. I totally recommend this place to everyone that appreciate the real italian cuisine and culture, for a dinner between friends, family or with a loved one. The menu also proposes vegan options and the restaurant is children and pet friendly. I will surely come back to have again some wonderful pasta and to try the meat-based dishes which sounded amazing too.”

“One of the best local Korean places. The sitting area itself is a bit small, as there are just a few tables, but it just makes it feel more homely. I would definitely recommend a bibimbap or one of the stews, as they are very good in flavour and qty. Otherwise do a delivery, as he cooks everything on order, so it's as fresh as it can be”

In case you are looking for spicy lamb chops I would suggest letting the chef know) The food was freshly prepared. We were served by the owner who was extremely friendly and professional. “I discovered a poper little gem, to be honest. The breakfast is absolutely banging! Fresh food, full of flavour and cooked just right. It’s honestly hard to find a place where you feel truly welcome, but this spot really gets it right. Portions are very generous, the coffee is a proper good cuppa, and the service is friendly and spot on. Lovely vibes all round, will definitely be coming back.”

“Wonderful taste.. The place has a nice atmosphere, but it’s a bit crowded. As soon as you sit down, soup and salad are served immediately. The lamb dishes are good, and we also liked the kebabs. The prices are quite reasonable too.”

“The owner is the most humble person ever. He supported the local mosque with food for volunteers and staff, helped support other out of the kindness of his heart. The food is absolutely lovely too, taste amazing and great atmosphere overall!!”

“We had afternoon tea at Kinaara and it was fabulous! Staff were great and went out their way to elevate your experience. I especially enjoyed the savoury selection- the mixed veg pakora and dahi puri were absolutely delicious! If you’re looking for an afternoon tea option with more than just sandwiches, you’ll love this! The dessert selection was equally great with lots of variety. Definitely recommend”

“I've been here for long dinners with my friends, but tonight I wanted a swift bite before the theatre. I wasn't disappointed. The crab starter was rich and spicy and like nothing I've ever had. I ate chicken malabar for main and whilst it was very tasty I think I prefer my more pungent spicy faves. Service was quick yet attentive. Very nice experience.”

“I’ve been coming here for near 40 years! The place recently celebrated their 46th birthday and suddenly made me feel old! An absolute institution. I was lucky to visit way back when it was just 1-2 small rooms and my parents treated to us to this incredible restaurant when we were younger and have continued to visit since! They had been coming since just after it opened and it was once fo the best Thai restaurants you could find! After years of uni and now living over seas it’s on the list every time I come home. Made even more special by some of the staff remembering me including the boss! A true sign of a spectacular restaurant where hospitality is at the heart of its success. Here is to another 40 years I hope!”

“This was one of the best dinners I had in London in a while. We tried 3 different pastas and the portions were so big that we could not finish between 3 of us. And they were absolutely delicious!!! Also the wine was the best I ever had. The staff were very fun and lovely. Will definitely be back!”

“We ordered the carbonara (guanciale was crispy and done perfectly) and the seafood pasta (prawns were very well marinated) and both were DELICIOUS. A note, the pasta was on the firmer side of al dente, still delicious! But perhaps note to the chef if that is not your preference :) The focaccia on the side was soft, fresh, and flavourful. The menu, while smaller than some larger restaurants, is all cooked to an extremely high standard!!! We finished with the tiramisu, which was also exceptional. Creamy, well-soaked with coffee, with delightful crunchy biscotti sprinkled on. Generous portions for both mains and dessert. We visited on a Saturday evening, and it was lively without being too crowded. We were seated immediately with no reservation. The music was fun (though not to my taste) and the decor was very down to earth.”

“We had the beef lasagna and beef ragu, it is one of the best ones we have ever had! It’s full of flavour, soft and melts in your mouth. I could come here every day for the lasagna, it has a truffle flavour, homemade pasta! We have been twice now and will be coming back! Lovely location and excellent service. Thank you!”

“So we were looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday, with our two kids. My wife is a lover of seafood so found really positive reviews for The Boys Italian Seafood Restaurant. It's hidden away down Queen Street in Gravesend - a quiet area of the town close to parking. OMG - this is heaven if you, like my missus, love all foods that come out of an ocean or river. What can I say. Great food (couldn't fault anything at all), very good service, very friendly family run business, reasonably priced too. They specifically made a fresh pizza for our three year old son (it was delicious by the way). If you, like us, love seafood....or if you want to grab a freshly made true Italian pizza, then I'd recommend The Boys anytime. We're so impressed we will be going back real soon.”
