    Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre

    ★★★★☆ 4.5
    Closed

“Our eight and nine year old girls were scheduled for their first kayaking session yesterday, however, due to the weather, their introduction was replaced with canoeing, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. To participate, you must be eight years old. They provide windsurfing, sailing, and canoeing in addition to kayaking. Excited to explore the other water sports. The personnel was welcoming and friendly. An additional perk is that parking is free on the premises. I would highly recommend.”

    Archway Children's Centre

    ★★★★☆ 4.5

“We have nearly four years experience with Archway Children's Centre (our one year old is in the Baby room and our four year old - at the nursery since she was 10 months old - is now in the Pre-School room). We only have positive things to say and frequently thank our lucky stars such high quality childcare was available to us. The facilities are fantastic but more importantly, the management and staff are amazing. Warm and respectful of each other and the children, but also extremely professional. They combine care, attention and affection for the children with remarkably creative ideas for educating and entertaining them. Our children love it and we feel they are in the best hands.”

    The Willow Children's Centre

“My child has been attending Willow Nursery for over a year now and I have nothing but praise for this establishment. Thanks to the dedicated Baby Room manager and the staff who all work tirelessly to take care of all the children, my son has developed so much. My child was referred to external NHS departments such as Speech and Language, the Childhood Development Centre and Audiology when it was felt that he may need more support and that was as a result of the close work the Baby Room manager and SENCO manager had done with him. The nursery has fantastic resources and equipment such as a sensory room, SEN trained staff, a large playground, toys and books. Honestly, I visited a number of nurseries in the local area and none of them compared. The nursery is diverse as both the children and staff are of different cultures and raves and this is regularly celebrated. Overall, I can say I am extremely happy with Willow Nursery they take very good care of the children, keep parents and families involved and informed in everything they do and there is a real community feel about it. Well done Willow Nursery!!!”

1st Place Children and Parents' Centre

    ★★★★☆ 4.5

“Our son has been attending 1st Place at Chumleigh Gardens since he was 10 months old and we couldn’t be happier with the care he has received over the past three years. The staff are fantastic—kind, nurturing, and dedicated. He has built strong relationships with his carers, many of whom have been there throughout his time at the nursery, providing a wonderful sense of continuity. One of the things we love most is the emphasis on outdoor play and exploration. He thrives on being outside every day and especially enjoys the trips to forest school. The nursery also fosters a great sense of community, and he has made lots of friends along the way. The focus on child development is excellent, ensuring he is well-prepared for the next stage of learning. We are incredibly grateful for the care and support he has received and would highly recommend the nursery to other parents.”

“A few weeks back I was collecting my daughter from her classes in the centre and I purposely arrived a little earlier so that I would have time for my mid day prayer. I asked the lady at reception if the centre had a religious room. She was a little unhelpful and abrupt with an immediate no without apology. Not long after an absolute lovely gentleman by the name of Joe asked if I just needed a room which I replied yes he then guided me to a back room that had very dim beautiful lighting and only housed a ping pong table. I was so grateful. Just that small act of consideration and kindness made all the difference and immediately changed my mind about my initial interaction with the receptionist. Again thank you so much Joe. Your kindness went a very long way.”

They did all the setting up, served the food, tidied the toys and cleared away for us which made it much more relaxing to host. Would definitely use here again to host a party. Thank you so much.”

“This concerns the quality of provision of Focus Music, not venue hire - I’m concerned that negative reviews of the venue are being linked to the music teaching, which is superb. We now have in-school guitar lessons from Focus Music, having moved away from another provider. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of teaching - a vast improvement on previous experiences. The communication, through the school’s system or direct emailing/phoning/messaging is also first rate. Couldn’t be happier!”
