The temperature was in the 40’s and myself and my boys didn’t burn or go red at all, they played in the water most of the day, were protected and tanned beautifully. “This has become one of my favourite neighbourhood spots. The atmosphere is warm and cosy- perfect for an evening catch-up or an easy mid-week dinner. The bacon risotto is absolutely delicious and easily one of the best dishes on the menu - creamy, comforting, and full of flavour. The starters could be a little stronger, but everything else more than makes up for it. The service is friendly and unhurried, and the overall vibe feels authentically Italian. A lovely local gem that always makes you feel welcome.”

“Manthan completely changed the way I think about Indian food. Their £30 Festive Linner is incredible value — six well-executed dishes with Michelin-level finesse. The Ghati Masala Prawns and Buttermilk Chicken were standout starters, and the Tulsi Chicken Chop was beautifully grilled. Both mains were flavourful and comforting, especially with the dal, rice and paratha on the side. Service was warm, and the peacock-blue townhouse setting in Mayfair feels elegant without being pretentious. A fantastic spot for refined Indian dining at a very reasonable price.”

I'll always be a loyal customer! P.S. I'm not sure if they allow outside drinks, but I always bring coffee when I go because my partner and I don't usually drink soda when we eat out. “Hidden gem! Fantastic roast dinners on Sundays and bring your own wine for a modest corkage charge. The owners couldn't have been nicer and the food is incredible. We've already made arrangements to go again with a group of friends. You may have to navigate yourself around several buggies and prams when you're there and seating is limited but it's worth it. This place is a must try and incredible value for money, I can't recommend it highly enough.”

“I've been shopping here for about 5 years (even tho I live in Crouch End and we have loads of fresh produce stores there, I travel for Green and Glory's quality). I rave about Green & Glory to friends. The produce is always fantastic quality - the best around. I think it's far better value than supermarkets and better too is not having to use produce in plastic like supermarkets. And it's more than just fruit and veg - really it's a small supermarket. “We visited Flat Iron in London for a family lunch, and it was an absolutely lovely experience. The atmosphere was warm ,welcoming and perfect for a casual yet special meal. We tried the beef steak and the green chilli beef burger, and both dishes were delicious. The steak was tender, juicy, and cooked exactly as we ordered, with that signature Flat Iron flavour that never disappoints. The green chilli beef burger was a real highlight packed with bold, spicy flavours that added a nice kick without being overwhelming. A really nice touch was the complimentary freshly made popcorn served when we arrived, and the free vanilla ice cream cone at the end such a thoughtful way to round off the meal! The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout. Service was quick, and the overall vibe was relaxed, which made it perfect for a family lunch. The Levant grilled and marinated chicken was tender and packed with flavor, perfectly complemented by the fresh coleslaw, crisp lettuce, and a sweet yet spicy honey sriracha sauce. The homemade chips were crispy and seasoned to perfection, and the salad with balsamic vinegar added a refreshing balance to the meal. I also appreciated the dips being served separately, which allowed me to customize each bite. A truly satisfying meal—I will definitely be back!”

“Lovely place. I have been here a number of times, Jimmy and Sue are both lovely and put pride in their work. Food is always great and more importantly fresh, and I don't think I have had a bad dish! We always go with friends or family. Our go to's are Lobster noodles, salted n pepper giant king prawns, beef ho fun, special fried rice, scallops, crab claws, chicken curry and many more!”
