You can tell they know their craft — and love it. The coffee is always freshly roasted on-site, which makes a huge difference. Every visit smells slightly different in the best way — like a rotating gallery of beautiful coffee aromas. Whether you go for a flat white or a pour-over, the quality is consistently excellent. It’s by far the best cup of coffee I’ve had in Angel. “Picked this venue for a coffee after reading the great reviews and was not disappointed. Don't be fooled by the modest entrance, the shop is a visual cornucopia of artistic delights. The drinks arrived in cute, hand painted cups and saucers, with small wooden spoons and the coffees adorned with coffee art. We sat and took in all the amazing decor which was for sale: cups, small serving dishes, bags, spoons, a menagerie of small crocheted animals with some in key ring form plus so much more. It was a feast for the eyes and brain to take in everything that was on display. The coffee was equally good and hope to try one of the cakes next time. An absolute joy for the senses and would highly recommend.”
