“I’ve been having treatments with Kai and Abi since moving to Rickmansworth, and I couldn’t recommend them more! Kai has given me pregnancy massages as well as full-body and hot stone massages. She always pinpoints exactly where the pain is and explains how to relieve it beyond just massage. I even recommended her to my father-in-law, and thanks to her treatments he has made remarkable progress since his stroke. Over the past year, Kai and her team have worked hard to improve his circulation and muscle movement, and we’ve seen a real difference in his independence and mobility. I’ve also had treatments from Abi, including regular eyebrow waxing and tinting, as well as her incredible Korean facials. These facials have improved my skin so much that even my husband noticed the difference — especially the reduction in blackheads on my nose!”

“Wonderfully friendly staff, Kate and her team provide a lovely, engaging environment and produce excellent haircuts. Being open late on Thursdays and Sunday means that it always possible to walk in and get a really good haircut. Going in at peak times might mean a wait but then I find I get drawn into the conversation or banter and the time flies.”

Every time we come through this town this is one of the many highlights. Close to trainline which is both Metropolitan tube to/from London and Chiltern Rail to other places etc... Recommended”

“I visited The Old Shepherd for the first time on Saturday evening and was very impressed with everything about it. The decor and lighting help to create a great atmosphere along with the helpful and friendly staff and welcoming locals. The quality, portion size and value of the food was outstanding, I ordered a veggie burger which was the best i've ever been served in a pub and the fries were delicious too. I'm told there's live music now on most Saturdays and the artist playing was of a very high standard. Highly recommended venue worth travelling to.”

“I had a wonderful experience. Firstly, there is a huge variety of options particularly for bridal wear. This is some of the best and most real looking artificial jewellery in the U.K. (even though many of the gemstones are natural stones too). The gold plating is done amazingly and the standard of the jewellery is very high. The team give you attention and can custom order to your desired colour and style. I highly reccomend.”

“One of my most favourite pubs in the area. Love the Thai food. The staff are always polite, courteous and very helpful. I have been with friends and also with my kids and the experience was great in all occasions. The atmosphere is great, and even the patrons are nice and friendly. The place is also always spotless. “We have just returned from posh frocks after my daughter tried on lots of dresses for her prom. What an incredible range they have and what lovely staff. We didn’t really know what we were looking for but the lovely ladies helped narrow down the style, material and colours with so much patience and enthusiasm. Sadly one of the faves turned out to be already taken by our school so we are just looking through photos to decide on the right dress. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly. The food was fantastic—delicious, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. There was a great variety on the menu, catering to all tastes, and everyone in our group found something they loved. The atmosphere was also a highlight. The large outdoor kids' play area kept the little ones entertained, which made our dining experience much more relaxed. “A great pub in lovely country surroundings. They had indoor and outdoor seating. They came to our table to take our order, but also had an app. The staff are really friendly, it’s clean and roomy. For hiking, it was wonderful to have this pub on route. I would definitely recommend coming here.”
