    El Cafetal Coffee Roasters

    ★★★★★ 4.9
    Closed

“A proper coffee house which has very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They can tell you where the coffee is sourced (all of it is Colombian), the story behind the location & the processes undertaken. They actually roast all of their beans in house which gives it a very fresh and flavourful taste. The staff will help you identify what beans that would suit your coffee choice best, I.e americano, flat white etc. Really recommend visiting the cafe to sit in or take coffee for your commute from Berrylands. They also offer various pastries and snacks etc to complement your choice. I feel like that this is an independent cafe not to be missed, with expertise and flavours which will not be found at a local chain coffeehouse!”

    The Robin Cafe Richmond

    ★★★★★ 4.9
    Closed

“Picked this venue for a coffee after reading the great reviews and was not disappointed. Don't be fooled by the modest entrance, the shop is a visual cornucopia of artistic delights. The drinks arrived in cute, hand painted cups and saucers, with small wooden spoons and the coffees adorned with coffee art. We sat and took in all the amazing decor which was for sale: cups, small serving dishes, bags, spoons, a menagerie of small crocheted animals with some in key ring form plus so much more. It was a feast for the eyes and brain to take in everything that was on display. The coffee was equally good and hope to try one of the cakes next time. An absolute joy for the senses and would highly recommend.”

Owners are the most wonderfully welcoming people who really take the time to get to know their customers and make you feel so loved you can’t help but keep coming back. The closest I have come to an authentic Italian coffee house outside of Italy!”

“Lovely new cafe on West Hendon Broadway. Bright, airy, spotlessly clean (I need to get the details of their cleaner!), nicely decorated and service with care and attention by the owner/manager. Reasonably priced food and drinks - the chai tea is very nice - made from powder not syrup. Fast WiFi and comfortable seating. Will definitely be back.”

    COFFEE HOUSE 607

“Their flat white and almond croissant were the best I’ve had in london thus far. The flat white was perfectly balanced - not too bitter, not too sweet. The almond croissant was dense and so soft. They went really well together. There is limited seating but it’s a great place to sit down and work or just drop by :)”

“I’ve been a regular at Butter Up Cafe in Tulse Hill for a year and it’s fantastic. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the staff—Jam, Alex, and Patch—are incredibly friendly. The environment is perfect for grabbing a coffee on the go or settling in to get some work done. I only tried their pastries once, but I hear their cinnamon buns is popular here. Open daily, this cafe is a local favourite worth checking out.”

    Daniel's Cafe & Patisserie

    ★★★★★ 4.9
    Open

“Daniel’s Bake in Maida Vale is the kind of place that reminds you why great hospitality matters just as much as great food. From the moment I walked in, the staff set the tone—genuinely warm, attentive without being intrusive, and clearly proud of what they do. That welcome alone already elevated the experience. The food, however, is where Daniel’s Bake truly shines. Every bite felt thoughtfully prepared, with a clear focus on quality, balance, and flavour. Nothing felt rushed or careless; it was comfortingly indulgent yet refined, the sort of food that exceeds expectations rather than merely meeting them. What ties it all together is the atmosphere: relaxed, inviting, and quietly confident. It’s rare to find a place where the service, food, and overall experience align so seamlessly, but Daniel’s Bake manages it effortlessly. An outstanding visit from start to finish—this is a bakery worth going out of your way for, and one I’ll be returning to without hesitation.”
