“I have been visiting M and R barbers for at least 8 years now. Myself and my son have a re-occurring appointment with Raff or one of his skilled barbers. I have found the staff patient and accommodating with regards to my own time keeping and the temperament of my once toddler-aged son. Raff is passionate about his craft and engaging in conversation. I have enjoyed the beverages on offer during my many visits. I find the process almost automated due to the ease of picking a slot on the app and a barber waiting upon our arrival. We have regular haircuts and I have now added a beard trim to the booking. My father-in-law who lives in the north of the country still books in to see Raff during his regular visits(which is a review unto itself) There is always a smile on our faces leaving the barbers due to its relaxing environment and quality haircuts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend M and R barbers to anyone in the Guildford area.”

“My experience with Newton Huxley while buying my new home was great. Ella showed me round the property and she was super friendly and knowledgeable. She was very accommodating when I wanted to view the property a second time. I also did other viewings with James who was equally friendly and helpful. “We have taken all of our three Wolfhounds to Beth who all absolutely loved her. She has (and is with our latest - No 3 Dexter) so caring and professional. Even her greeting to us humans is always with a smile. Considering we have had large dogs, this has never been an issue with Beth, on the contrary, she is so relaxed and confident with them. They have all come out looking and smelling lovely. We would recommend Beth 100% - even after moving out of the area, we are more than happy to travel 45 minutes for her expert service. They're treating everyone as friends which makes all new and old customers to feel very appreciated. “Highly recommend! I used waggy wheels for the first time today with two very untidy cavachons. Alex was very welcoming, showed me his very professional and very clean grooming room. He was very caring and calm towards my fur babies which was great as my youngest pup can get quite nervous. Alex really listened to what I asked for making sure he cut my dogs hair to my liking. My pups where returned to me very happy, looking and smelling gorgeous!! Will be back again for sure!!”

“I booked my Smart car in here recently, as I wasn't 100% satisfied with another local Smart specialist. All I can say is, so far I'm impressed! A major service, and the car now runs very well, including no glitches which I was experiencing before. The engineer, Sash, went through what they did in detail when I collected it. From booking with Michelle on reception, to collection, this was a very good experience. Don't hesitate to pay the deposit and wait a few weeks to be seen, as these guys know what they are doing. “Fantastic... Simply fantastic service. Spoke to Gareth regarding buying my daughter her first pet and although they no longer sold hamsters he was a wealth of knowledge. Directed me to a reputable store and was polite and spent more time answering my questions then he had to. Will be buying all our supplies from him in the future and the delivery option is a great bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful too. I do not have a second though recommending them.”

“I spent 3 nights when I came to settle my daughter at the University of Surrey. It’s located in a calm area that can be easily reached by car. Its private car park in front of the property can accommodate 8-10 cars. It has a beautiful garden to enjoy in a sunny day, even to work remotely with the internet available. Nothing to complain about in the room, all tidy and clean, with a comfortable bed. A nice breakfast was included in the price when I booked directly after checking it on the booking sites.”

“Wow what an amazing find!! So pleased to come across this super tasty Italian cuisine! An authentic Italian eatery in the lovely surroundings of scenic Guildford. A cosy restaurant with lovely decor and those authentic Italian vibes! Wonderful service from our server who was helpful, efficient and very friendly. The food is phenomenal. Real Italian food! We enjoyed the Margherita pizza, mushroom and cheese arancini and the chocolate cannolis! Soooo tasty. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in Guildford looking for real genuine Italian food, with a homely feel. I am looking forward to coming back and trying some more food and the coffees.”
