“Hands down the best spot in Romford, tucked away on the far side of the market, this little gem is a generational family run cafe, I had a sausage egg and bacon sandwich taken away, it was foodgasmic the bacon was thick back bacon with a light smoke, the egg was runny the sausage was good quality and the crusty English bread was fresh and nourishing slavered in butter and brown sauce. I have been here a few times and think it’s great, and the tea is a good blend with a strong colour just the way I like it not milky and served in a proper cup not those fancy coffee dish’s. Keep up the good work guys.”

“I have to say, I was very impressed with their burgers. I ordered through Uber Eats and got their Roadhouse Beef Chilli Smash and New York Taxi. Both burgers were delicious. The chilli burger didn't have much chilli inside so could make that improvement but the quality of the beef was very good. The New York Taxi burger was my favourite. Flavoursome, good portion and great toppings. Highly recommend.”

“Hi, I’ve been going to this Argos for years, Never had any problems or any issues My family also come to this Argos. I like that they are very fast forward and simple They don’t do extra! Kind and nice and simple what more could u want Don’t believe the negative comments if I was you. From a customers perspective I’ll give it a 10 out of 10 compared to other Argoses I have been to. A perfectly situated desi food spot with an array of options that would fit all your cravings. Comfortable seating, chill vibe and overall would highly recommend. “I recently had a fantastic meal at The Grill Stratford and wanted to share my experience. From start to finish, the food was absolutely top-notch, and it's a spot I'd highly recommend. For starters, I got the buffalo wings and black tiger prawns. The wings had a great kick and were perfectly cooked, while the prawns were juicy and full of flavour. Both dishes were a great way to kick off the meal. But the real star of the show was the ribeye steak. It was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection, and melted in my mouth with every bite. It was easily one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. While my main focus was on the steak, I also had a taste of the burger, and it didn’t disappoint. It was hearty, well-seasoned, and a great choice if you're not in the mood for a steak. Overall, the quality of the food at The Grill Stratford is superb. If you're looking for a place with excellent steaks and a solid menu all around, this is definitely the place to go.”

“Absolutely loved the atmosphere! We got a warm welcome from the manager, and our lovely waitress made the whole experience even better. The food was amazing—beautifully presented and full of flavor. I had the chicken liver to start, followed by lamb chops and ribs. The liver was super tasty, and the chops were so tender they just melted in my mouth. My sister ordered a salad and a few other things—loved the little butterfly on the salad! Great service all around. Will definitely be back!”

Our groups food intolerances were catered for extremely well & everyone enjoyed a delicious & plentiful afternoon tea. We had lovely fresh sandwiches, warm soft scones, not dry or crumbly & a large variety of delicious cakes all served in authentic crockery, a nice touch. Even our dog was welcomed just as much as we were. We had to take our leftovers home as we couldn't finish all of the delicious cakes, a welcomed treat later on. “One of the best Turkish takeaways that I’ve had. Juicy pieces of meat with salad, sauce and it’s breads. Huge portions so you don’t need to worry about lunch the next day! My friend had the double gut buster (what a name!) which consists of two quarter pounder patties and a generous amount of lamb doner strips. PS this place only takes cash but there is a Tesco a few minutes away from the shop.”
