“We went to support the money raising event for Matt. The venue is great for live music and has a wide variety of drinks including their own beers. More variety of non alcoholic beers would be great. They have a simple menu which is great. Unfortunately the hotdogs we had were very dry and plain but still value for money. Somewhere we would go again”

“I stayed here for one night only. Imagine that the place is a hotel for 200 years, but the building was built in the 15th century!! The rooms are cosy , combining the old and modern. Quiet place only disturbed by the noise of the cars passing on the bridge built over the river that lays in front of the hotel. There is hat and cold breakfast included, which is quite unique. Will surely come back one day.”

“I found Bhavi through Google and contacted her at the last minute and she managed to fit me in and give me an appointment the next day. She is located just above The hairdressers and her room is clean and comfortable. I had grown my brows for 4 months and she was really approachable, put me at ease and did an excellent job and also achieved what I was looking for. So happy with the results from threading. Would highly recommend Bhavi. Will definitely be booking all my brow touch ups with Bhavi- thank you!”

“I have been in staying for two weeks in Staines now as a tourist and this food is the best food I have tried since I came here. We will go back there for dinner for sure. Update: We went to have a dinner and the food was very delicious again. The staff were lovely as always.”

“Perfect place for your cat to stay whilst you’re away - lovely owners, who clearly adore cats and provide bespoke care to each cat, including cuddles to our highly nervous shy girl. Socialising with other cats is also allowed if your cat is happy to. Can’t recommend highly enough.”

“One of the few takeaways that satisfies my hunger for good food on the go, best falafel in Staines town and surrounding areas by far. The owner/head chef is a really nice guy and makes some really good traditional Lebanese/Syrian food! Well worth a visit, its not your average kebab house. 10/10”

“I’ve been going to Bawan for all my haircuts, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else! He knows exactly how I like my hair and gets it right every time. “We booked our five month old boy to stay for a long weekend whilst we went away for our anniversary. We were worried because he is still so young but the entire establishment is like something out of a fairy tale! Lovely staff, amazing accommodation and amenities for the cats and such great value! “18-5-2025. Always welcomed with a smile. Great menu at great prices. Can highly recommend the half chicken, chips and a drink deal, all for £8.49, chicken is really tasty, better than Nandos. Chicken biriyani with rice is also very good. Piri piri Chips are great . Food cooked well and you don't wait long. Some seating and tables inside too.”

Great setup and really easy to use their kitchen to do the food ( there was the option for them to do it as well) Staff member really helpful and no issues at all. “Currently sat in the last hop having just eaten the most delicious pizza with a nice glass of vino! Other half has a beer from their amazing options and the music is playing, very chilled atmosphere on a very hot day! Love the refit and all the staff are so friendly still! We will become very regular again!”

“Stayed overnight for a morning flight to LA that got delayed. The room we stayed in was lovely. Fantastic shower. Comfortable bed. Really nice building. Breakfast was continental and served at a time of our choosing (within reason). Our flight was delayed by 2 hours which was no problem at all for our transfer to the airport. 100% will stay here again.”

“Am amazing find hidden away. This is in a food court but it feels like you step into south east Asia when you go inside. The food was very authentic, fresh and I would go far as to say the best dim sum / yum cha I've tried in the UK! So fresh, they make in front. Also there is a bar in the food court with many types of Asian drinks and beers. Small family run stalls in the food court. I saw Chinese, Japanese and Malaysian from memory. Dim sum reasonably priced - video shows the menu. My photos go into the food court too.. love it!”
