“I’ve been here twice. The first time, I got the brisket sando with duke chips which was very yummy. The second time, I got the smash burger with the mac n cheese, which was yummy too! My family had the smoked brisket and the lamb neck. I tasted those too and they were delicious. The food looked exactly like what was shown on the menu and the portion sizes were generous! “After buying a large kitchen table and chairs from Steve a couple of years ago I recently returned to get a sideboard for the living room. The latter of which was subject to very specific width, depth and height requirements which were easily accommodated. Steve is clearly passionate about his work and this shows through in the finished item. Both items I purchased were built with high quality materials, attention to detail and importantly a sense of uniqueness. Do not assume this comes at a price. It doesn’t! I have been pleasantly surprised at the cost on both occasions and I cannot imagine going anywhere else in the future.”

“Thought I would get a bacon butty ended up having a full English. I used to live in the area but had travelled up from the south coast and needed a break. The cafe is a simple place with very comfy chairs and plenty of parking near by. If you need to be close there is a park and display outside if you don’t mind a small walk parking is free. The breakfast was great, real mushrooms and great bacon. It came with a mug of tea and toast all for under a tenner. Service was pleasant the staff were friendly.”
