“A very good place where my wife disappears and I walk round looking at stuff. The staff are super lovely. They do classes if you are into crafting etc which is well worth joining There is a lot of stuff here, sewing, crafting, art and if you want to learn any of these there are classes too Very friendly staff Also note if you have a blue light card, hobby craft gives some discount they don’t advertise this as much as you would think but if you are a blue light card holder like my wife use it”

“We were researching a riser recliner chair at at Orpington where we met Jon who could not have been more helpful. HSL are made in Yorkshire and come in various sizes from petite to Super Grandee. Most of the chairs will lift up to 25 stones and come in an amazing amount of fabrics including leather. The leather option although lovely costs almost 1/3 more. Jon explained the "fitting" aspect which is very sensible checking on hip width, leg length, height from the floor and 4 other aspects. We were shown probably 100's of fabric, we were offered samples and those they didn't have were posted to us very quickly. We have decided not to buy at the moment but if in the future I would not hesitate to return. The shop is very well appointed and I think there were 3 other lady staff members who were also very helpful. The shop also sells non electric chairs and 3 piece suites which looked very good but we didn't try any as that was not what we wanted. There is a VERY small car park at the rear probably only 3 spaces so if able to walk I would suggest parking elsewhere to save a tight 3+ turn to exit.”

“I went into the Orpington branch and didn't have a clue as to what I wanted, the new manager Tracy helped me decide she is very knowledgeable and a asset to your business. I did go in this store before but it wasn't very well stocked and I wasn't approached by staff I was dubious as to whether I would go again but I'm so glad I did. Thank you for all your help tracy”

I spent time with both Natasha and Sally at their shop who inspired me with their ideas and suggestions for suitable flowers. I wanted something very natural to reflect my husband’s farming career and they excelled themselves to produce the most glorious arrangement which took my breath away and many others besides.. Their attention to detail was amazing with many little touches like blackberries and herbs. They had just caught it so right and it has even lasted well with a bit of misting and I am enjoying it almost a week later. They were both very friendly and compassionate .. nothing was too much trouble and I shall certainly be visiting them more regularly in the future, Gill Wade”

“To be hounest when i first used the shop they didnt seem to welcome me and there paypoint never worked i was kinda put off by this, i know paypoints are a zero mark up profit so i guess they didnt like you just using the store for just the zero profit benefits as these are used in shops to attract customers to buy items then top up there elcetric or gas , but as i became a regular due to prices in another nearby shop , after a while all of a sudden there paypoint always worked lol and they became more friendly now i wont vist many other small convenience stores because they are atualy nice people when you get to know them and become a regualar customer - husband and wife run store”

“My kitchen has been transformed from a purely functional room, to a space the whole family loves spending time in. I wasn't expecting very much when I first went to visit Piqu as I'd already seen a design from another company that I liked. But meeting with Adrian, I knew Piqu would be my choice. Adrian was able to take into account my vision for the kitchen, how I use it and my budget, to give me something that surpassed my expectations in terms of design, layout, quality and beauty. The choice of colour, 'Moonlight Green', along with the unique Sensa Sant Angelo granite is a combination that gives me so much joy!! Adrian's expertise was key in ensuring the kitchen was designed to work with how I intended to use it, and what I planned to store in its cupboards. He was very patient and accommodated my back and forth on some of the finer details. But more exceptional was his attitude when dealing with issues that arose, which is inevitable in a project of that scale (the kitchen was part of a whole house extension and renovation). He took responsibility to ensure all problems were resolved, quibble-free, and to a high standard. I 100% recommend Piqu to anyone who's looking for a new kitchen.”

“I placed an order, hear via just eat I had egg fried rice, curry sauce beef chow mein and sweet chilli beef. I feel that the experience was good The food arrived within about 40 minutes Hot nice size portion. I would recommend the chilli beef from here I found with other local takeaways. It seems to be hard to get the chilli beef on point, but this establishment seems to do it quite well so I will order from this takeaway again.”
