“Went into the shop on Saturday 18/01 and got the best service! The member of staff Jessie was unsure of what I wanted and got Daniel the Branch Manager to Help. Meanwhile the rest of the staff were joking and laughing with me other customers and amongst themselves! You can tell there is a great relationship between them. I have never left a Google review before but I couldn't let this service go without the praise it deserves! I got exactly what I needed and managed to solve my plumbing issue quickly and easy and I had no idea what I was doing! I will be back!”

“Walked in late lunch. Ordered bacon and egg soft bap. After debating which bread I wanted roll, sandwich or soft bap. Has got to be one of the best and reasonably priced lunch break for a long time. Staff very friendly and willing to help. And will literally go out of their way to accommodate if possible. Amazing service and food”

“Incredible customer service from the establishment. Despite deliveroo being terrible, I called up the takeaway and they sorted it out right away (without deliveroo involved). I would recommend ordering directly from them. Pizzas were incredible as well and came within 30 mins of sorting out deliveroo's mess. Worth the wait and definitely will be going back again.”

“Wonderful. That probably doesn't do it justice. The location is idyllic. The house is gorgeous and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We sat outside as it was a lovely day with a spectacular view across the valley. We went for the set menu. It's not cheap but actually it's not unreasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. A few surprises (ants - deliberately - on the sushi) which were utterly delicious. We had different choices and every one of them was fantastic. Service was brilliant - friendly and informative - and the whole experience was unrushed, relaxed and sublime. Couldn't have had a better celebration of our anniversary. I also can't reccommend it enough.”

“We are visiting from Australia for five weeks, and just called in for a drink. Atmosphere was so good and the girl who served us was so inviting we said we would come back another day before we left. Two weeks later we stopped in for another drink and decided to stay for a meal. Wonderful food, same welcoming waitress again. The cousins we were staying with who live in Horsley who hadn’t been to the restaurant stall, heard all about this place. We ALL went back today and shared a wonderful lunch, our same waitress was there and a wonderful older man who told lots of ‘nice’ jokes. Love this place. “Needed a chest of drawers so went on the website and found a solid wood 5 drawer Vancouver unit with massive price reductions. Loaded it into a fiesta hatchback and took it home. So pleased was I, that I returned the following day and bought another identical one. Massive thanks to Emily and the team for a very professional service.”

A lovely pub, staff seemed very nice too even though it was hot and they were bringing out lots of food to customers. Toilets were clean, plenty of parking out the front and side plus a car charger which is convenient.”

Absolute bargain lunch at 19 quid for the lot - especially as portion size was ginormous and the chicken was excellent quality! Landlady was on her own and super busy but incredibly friendly and welcoming. Service was excellent.”

“A very pleasant experience. Lovely grounds to explore. Staff were courteous and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfy bed. We used the swimming pool and this facility was great addition. I didn't use the gym but gym equipment looked modern and well maintained. In the evening, we had a cocktail each which we enjoyed immensely. The evening meal was wonderful and a special mention to both Anthony and James. That was the best burger I have experienced in a very long time. Sublime. The breakfast was excellent with everyone catered for. Highly recommended stay.”
