“Drove past this restaurant and decided to give it a shot on my way back. Honestly, I didn’t expect much from them but I must say I was impressed with the food. Prices aren’t bad at all. Quantity is pretty good. I usually like my food pretty spicy which is probably the only thing I didn’t get from here even after trying the spicy stuff on the menu, aside that I really liked the food. Staff were pretty friendly and it was pretty clean and tidy. It’s a small set up but it’s pretty good.”

“Guests came from canada and had a layover in the UK. Took them here for breakfast: Got the Haleem- absolutely divine. Never had such good Haleem before. Chaane were heavenly and tasted so authentic. The naan was so crisp but soft in the middle, tasted soo good with the Chaane and Haleem. The chai. The chai. It was so good. Added 4 moons onto the whole experience. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you!”

Today, I was served by two of the best people in the shop, Vaibhaw and Dev. Their communication and friendly attitude, especially Vaibhaw’s warm smile, made my visit extra special. The food is always flavorful and packed with just the right amount of spice—perfect for those who love a little kick. “Loved the food and staff were great. Its a cozy little place that has a lot of character. It has a big beer garden and some parking around the place and on the street opposite. Pets are allowed. Prices are reasonable. We had a Chicken Gyros and Roast Ham. They were both really good. Great for families and groups.”

“Came here with work, popped here for a couple pints on my own, staff are very friendly,, pints are icy cold, they WILL! And I mean WILL, look after you, even there locals introduce themselves, lovely bar, nice and chill, good tunes, nice pints, and food to die for, I’ll be popping back from hartlepool just for more food and the banter! 10/10 reccomend! Come here if you can, you really won’t be disappointed!”

“This place surely isn't the biggest or most privately contained cafe in a hospital, but that really is the beauty of it. Run by volunteers, these people were wonderful to talk to, and not only to see them with the choice to dedicate this time, but simply considering how long some have lived for (e.g. age 92), and how good their health is. Onto the actual cafe! The price of food here from sandwiches to cafe drinks is the type of reasonable I am expecting and am so happy to see, when comparing to such, including the Costa in the hospital. In my opinion that includes the range of cakes, biscuits and bars too! Having my [veg] sandwhich toasted made it extra fulfilling, and the cappuccino was super! And it gets better: All profits made, go to a certain division of the hospital. More people should visit this cafe to appreciate the efforts devoted by volunteers here. Hospitals should have more affordable, lovingly run cafe's like this! Obviously that doesn't even have to be as a patient!”

“A group of us turned up unannounced before they were officially open and we were invited in nonetheless. We shared the mixed grill which was superb. Meat tender and flavoursome, rice outstanding. Also some vegetarian dumplings which were delicious. Very attentive and friendly service from Kamran. Super good value for money.”
