“We wanted to taste some wines to select for our wedding and were unfortunately unable to make any of the special wedding tasting sessions but Jess at Majestic Beckenham went out of her way to be accommodating. We had a little tasting session at the weekend where she had already selected wines she thought we’d like based on what we’d told her. She guided us through the different wine options, advised us on quantities to purchase and was just generally fantastic. Amazing service especially as we weren’t even ordering the wine through the Beckenham store as our wedding is in Leicester (we also had great service when we called to place the order with the Leicester store). I would highly recommend majestic if you’re looking to bulk buy wine for an event and want some guidance. Thanks again to Jess!”

“Ordered food from here a few times and I've never been disappointed. We've either gone there in person and ordered takeaway or ordered online for delivery. Every time the food has been faultless, loved the octopus and the unagi. Large choice of dishes. Prices a little above average but definitely worth it. We usual order a mixed sashimi set, a mixed sushi set and a couple of other dishes and for two of us it's more than enough. Last time we ordered via deliveroo, took about 30 minutes. The staff are always helpful and friendly.Definitely worth trying the food here.”

The Levant grilled and marinated chicken was tender and packed with flavor, perfectly complemented by the fresh coleslaw, crisp lettuce, and a sweet yet spicy honey sriracha sauce. The homemade chips were crispy and seasoned to perfection, and the salad with balsamic vinegar added a refreshing balance to the meal. I also appreciated the dips being served separately, which allowed me to customize each bite. A truly satisfying meal—I will definitely be back!”

“Had superb vegetarian focaccia (mozzarella, sun-dried tomato, aubergine, olives). Cooked to perfection, crispy outside, melty inside. Generous portion and very reasonable prices. They also sell authentic Italian products - pasta, oils, pasta sauces. Also delicious looking cakes, which I didn't try, as focaccia was substantial! Friendly, helpful staff.”

“Back again to this gem of a boozer in Beckenham. Great pint, great selection of different products to suit all tastes. It was busy when we went, but we got a table. Table was clean and we had all the menus and everything that we needed. Food was delicious, very warm and cosy comfort food. Atmosphere was cracking. We were served by the lovely Rachel, who I believe manages the pub. She was attentive, friendly and courteous throughout our visit. Overall, a thoroughly pleasant experience. We’ll be back again!”

“I pop in whenever I’m in Beckenham, usually just for a drink. My last visit was impromptu and decided to have something to eat. What I really like about this place it’s exactly how a pub should be. It’s clean, comfortable with a good selection of drinks. The staff are all so friendly and make you feel welcome. Proper pub food, done really well and exceptional value for money. Great to see a traditional pub still thriving. Thoroughly recommend this place to anyone!”

“We used Branching out for funeral flowers. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We had some unusual ideas and they listened and gave advice and the drinks while we deliberated were very welcome! On they day of the funeral were were absolutely delighted with the flowers. They were beautifully arranged, vibrant and just what we imagined. They really brightened a very sad day for us. The food was excellent, with a wide range of dishes to choose from, and the service was also brilliant. We were looked after by Birol, who was our host/waiter for the evening, and he was a very polite, friendly and funny gentlemen! “Just moved into this area and saw this take away has excellent reviews. I tried it and went back again. Very impressed with the quality of the food and although they were busy taking orders and cooking, I only waited 15 mins from when I ordered to when I got the food. Very clean as well.”

“This is a busy park cafe. The coffee is very good and on our last visit my son had a huge almond Croissant which was exceptional. We have never had a meal but the menu is varied and what I have seen served looks very appetising. Finally the staff are friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit in my opinion.”

The Deli was quite busy and I they clearly needed another member of the team to help although the lovely lady who served me was so professional and polite.
