“Freshest breakfast in Borehamwood! Barracuda is known for lunch and dinner, but their breakfast deserves far more attention. I had the Mediterranean breakfast with sourdough and an iced coffee — perfectly poached eggs, browned halloumi, fresh avocado and spinach, seasoned olives, and grilled tomato. It’s by far the freshest, most balanced breakfast in the area. Most cafés nearby are just average greasy spoons, but this is on a completely different level. If people don’t support places like this, they won’t last — and Borehamwood will only be left with the bland, profit-driven cafés. This breakfast is being overlooked and deserves more people coming in.”

“Great sushi that tastes extremely fresh. There are places to sit so you can watch the sushi being prepared and they are comfy.”

“So this is the first time I have ordered a takeaway from this restaurant. I must admit I was most impressed! I am rather fussy ( as my parents were from Delhi) being brought up and cooking lamb curry from scratch this was a wonderful haven ! The closest in borehamwood I have tasted to curry at home. “Rutu ( manager ) Shiva ( manager ) very helpful and polite. Excellent knowledge of pizzas and special offers, and went out their way to provide a wonderful experience for myself and daughters when ordering. Food was piping hot, fresh and had more cheese and toppings than other pizza places in the area. We all went for the wonderfully easy on daddies wallet 'MY BOX' selection, which comes with a small pizza ( extremely filling for my daughters) and a selection of either garlic bread or wedges. ( NOTE: the MY BOX is only a collection offer and before 4pm, i get it for my daughter's on a saturday for lunch, before or after their clubs) For me , this is the best pizza outlet in Borehamwood ( just like in the 80's)”

“A large Morrisons store with a petrol station. Huge car park. Wide aisles and clean. Salad bar. Cafe closed for hot food at 2pm, shame when children eat for a £1 . Great location. Great variety of products. Definitely recommend.”

“I usually come here on a solo-mission when local. The staff have always seated me quickly and are generally very kind. Food is served promptly, hot and well prepared. Cannot fault it tbh. Does this rank within my top 5 Nando's? I'm not sure, but it's a close competitor.”

“Staying locally for work at the local studios. We found Paolo's on Google. Arrived, seen to very quickly. Lovely young lad serving us (Elli - shout out). The owner and his wife were in the restaurant. Very friendly, chatty, polite, courteous, accommodating and overall lovely. We had beers and wine to drink - no complaints, all good. Now on to the main subject matter: the food. Very good. Well above average. Recommendable. We are from London, so have eaten at many Italian restaurants. Paolo's is in the top 3 I can think of. What we had as outstanding, furthermore. We will likely go back again tonight. The bill was £130 for numerous starters, mains, sides and alcoholic drinks. Like I said; no complaints. Thanks for looking after us - see you again soon!!”
