“Visited for the first time whilst visiting the area for the Hampton Court flower show. Very clean restaurant with a relaxing vibe. Helpful and friendly waiter who also held the door open for us when we left. Fresh, tasty and flavoursome food- perfect sized portions. I couldn’t decide between a 4 star or 5 star review, it would actually be a 4.5 star review if that was possible. As the fried rice with chicken was the best I’ve ever had I finally decided on a 5 star review. Worth a visit if you are in the area.”

“I had a great experience at this great pub located just off Esher high street. I had great communication from Liam to confirm my booking of 20 guys. He arranged a room for us upstairs, took table service for lunch and we were so well cared for by Sam. He was very attentive to us. The whole group had great things to say about their food. An excellent pub for a Sunday roast.”

“The community rebuilt this park cafe and it is an excellent facility enjoyed by everyone who uses the park and Claygate Primary School. On a sunny weekend you will see many groups and families playing games, having fun, eating ice creams, with drinks etc. Food gets 4 stars only because it is not Michelin starred.”

“Mr Manic is a brilliant entertainer for both children and adults at his parties. We have used him at the Ashley coe school Christmas disco for several years now and he never fails to bring the house down. He tailors his sets to youngsters in infants as well as the older juniors and gets it just right. I’d highly recommend him for children’s parties. Equally I’ve attended several adult parties where he’s put on a great rave up.”

What stands out most about Mark's teaching style is his calm demeanor, which made me feel at ease even when I struggled with certain techniques. His explanations are simple, straightforward, and always make sense, allowing me to grasp the concepts quickly. After my sessions with him, I definitely saw improvement in my game. I wholeheartedly recommend Mark to anyone looking to better their golf skills.”

“Delighted to recommend Hummings at Home. We used the team to help out with our daughter’s 18th birthday party at home. A pleasure to have Lewis behind the bar serving a lively group while keeping things sensible. Bouncers Chessy and Leon provided a safe space for the kids to have fun while being respectful of our home. Hummings proprietor was very attentive making sure his team arrived on time and checking they had everything they needed to do a brilliant job. All supported behind the scenes by Mahathi who expertly understood our requirements and matched the team to our needs. I would highly recommend the Hummings team to support any event in the home - helpful, flexible and very professional. Thanks guys!”

“A wonderfully unique mini brewer just outside the Claygate station. I think there was 3 beers on when we were there including a beautiful dark ale. The beers we had were lovely but sadly no notes were taken. If you're in Claygate, give it a go.”

“Olivia is the best hairdresser I have found. She listens to exactly what you want and helped me with my hair health journey and didn’t try and convince me to spend more money by doing more highlights. She specialises in blonde and I can say I have never seen before and after pictures like hers! She’s a genius and is always so lovely and friendly. Highly recommend Olivia for any hair needs. Happy customer of about 3 years now :-)”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. I learnt to ski as a beginner many years ago here. It's a great place to revise skiing skills in preparation for a holiday. There is a beginner and advanced slope. I think that the recreational skiing rate is very reasonable. The facilities do look a bit tired but they're functional and work! I liked the fact that they had an electronic calendar which meant you could change your booking last minute.”

“Love this coffee shop. Part bicycle shop and part coffee shop. Heaps of cyclists visit. I came for an oat milk flat white and also found the vegan peanut butter cookie bar. Will definitely return! My partner had the espresso and Guatemalan filter.”

“Fantastic place to acquire your favourite beverages. The trio of men who work there are all extremely polite. It's reminiscent of a time when customer service actually existed in retail stores in the UK. The young man will greet you on entry without fail making you feel welcomed immediately as soon as ones foot crosses the threshold of their abode. The older gentlemen is extremely friendly and helpful, always up for a quick chat. The slightly more senior younger man is also incredibly polite, will always ask if you need a bag and one time I was sold an expired vape (2 days expired). The man before the vape had entered my pocket had a look at it, and immediately refunded me. A great attention to detail. I cannot fathom someone not having a great experience at this establishment.”

“We went there for Xmas dinner. The prawns were floating in a sea of oil. Avoid The sea bass was cooked perfectly We sat outside under heated cover but it was still quite cold”

“Hadn’t booked but they were able to easily accommodate. I at first thought they were closed but was just the first customer of the evening! (It was a Monday night). It could maybe have done with some music in the background. But the decor was wonderful & service good. The food came out super speedy. I had coconut rice & vegetarian Thai green curry w/ tofu. It was some of the best Thai food I have eaten - and that includes in Thailand. Very reasonably priced. Will most definitely be going back.”

“The lovely pub hosted our daughter's 40th Birthday party in the side room off the main bar. We were able to decorate the room and also to have a local guitarist entertain us together with a fab face painter. Our party was able to order yummy food and drinks from the bar. I can't thank Nick and his super staff more. Highly recommend this great pub..”

“The good Earth is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food is absolutely delicious. We had the chicken satay and chicken and chive dumplings for starters, char siu pork and kaarage chicken for main and a coffee and crème brûlée for dessert. The service is very friendly and the staff are very attentive. Would recommend for anyone to check out!”

“Debbie provided us with a delicious afternoon tea following a family funeral. Everything was freshly made and delivered perfectly on time. Our guests had nothing but praise for the food, including a great selection of sandwiches, canapes, including mini quiches and vol-au-vents, cakes, scones and fresh fruit tarts.
