“I had a full head of highlights, cut and blow dry with Lucy! It was amazing, I’d never been to another hairdressers but since relocating was trying to find another one and was nervous for it. Adam is a friendly, welcoming and personable guy, who has created a contemporary and a relaxed environment for a great overall haircut experience. He plays great music adding to the vibe and loves to chat and have a bit of banter with clients. Adam is a talented professional with a great eye for detail which makes all the difference. “As usual the Loughton brow bar treated me very well. A warm welcome as I walked through the door. An excellent job was made of my brows. Tinted, waxed and put back into shape. Brilliant. Also had an under eye treatment put on whilst that was going on. Then I had my top lip waxed. Once again a good job. I never once felt my 75 years. I felt a million dollars when I walked out. I definitely recommend this brow bar and staff.”

“This forest is just so magical. You feel how old and ancient everything is. There's a church nearby, and some of the graves are from people who were alive in the 1800s, which is really cool. I would recommend coming here if you love forests and exploring!”

The brunch menu is simply amazing, offering a variety of colorful dishes that are not only visually appealing but also generously portioned. I had the pleasure of trying the egg shakshuka, potato rosti, avocado smash toast, matcha cappuccino, and pancakes. Among these, the egg shakshuka and matcha cappuccino stood out as my favorites. The flavors were rich and satisfying, and the presentation was top-notch. I also want to mention the fantastic staff who were incredibly helpful with the menu and provided quick, attentive service throughout my visit.”

We went 2 weeks on the trot as a large group they reserved the back seating for us. Such lovely ladies who served us. Friendly & caring! It's my new favourite place to eat when in the area. “Been getting my highlights and cut done by Caitlin for five years now! Followed her to this salon and I can’t recommend it enough, all the staff are so friendly and so professional. Every-time I leave the results are astounding, I have dark thick and tricky hair and always leave with the nicest bright blonde blowout! Caitlin is the best for transformations, chat and professionalism - can’t wait to get it done again xx”

“Excellent baby shop with very knowledgeable staff! Went there a couple of times first to learn about everything we needed for a new born and they were incredibly helpful. Price matched all the big shops so it was no brainer to go with a local independent shop! They got a few things wrong with our order but mistakes happen - they quickly resolved it, even threw in a little gift for us. Would recommend you follow their insta page for really helpful videos!”

“Really impressed with the quality of the food. Poached chicken tarragon ciabatta was very good. Soft chicken, top flavours. Turkish ciabatta (lamb sausage, ham and egg) was brilliant. Very different. Both ciabattas were well filled. Very good prices too, you're looking about 50% cheaper than molans for as good if not better quality. Staff were great and really food with the baby.”

“We held our work Christmas Party here last night (38 people!). I can't say enough good things about it. From the whole booking process through to the brilliant service on the night, the team at TD&H did an exceptional job. The food was delicious and came out perfectly timed (not easy with a party of 38), the drinks never stopped flowing, there were plenty of staff to look after us and (icing on the cake) there was great live entertainment after the meal, which meant we felt like it was a proper party. Thanks so much to the team - we are really grateful for a wonderful evening.”

“What a wonderful cafe. Situated near Epping forest and next to a pub this cafe was a gem. Staff were so friendly and helpful was a pleasure. Ordered a cappuccino and a salt beef sandwich. The coffee was piping hot and the sandwich was overflowing with meat and super tasty. Lots of parking spaces nearby. Will return in the summertime.”

“A really nice cosy pub with 2 bars, plenty of outside seating. Efficient, friendly staff. Plenty of parking at front n rear where pots of beautful plants lined the area. Doesnt do food but good place to meet, talk n drink. Will definitely return”

“Wow what can I say. The kings oak event team executed our wedding perfectly. We had the best day!! It was honestly the most incredible venue. Paula and Linzi on the day were amazing making sure I was calm and everyone was in place and the day ran smoothly. The food was INCREDIBLE! So many people have said to me it’s the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Christian the toastmaster was lovely! The DJ provided was very good and really friendly! Photo Booth and chocolate fountain were included and were incredible, all the guests raved about them! I couldn’t fault the place. Thank you so much for making our dream wedding a reality, the venue is stunningly beautiful and every last detail is perfect.”
