“So I’ve taken my nearly 2 year old to one or two other places for a hair cut and he would just scream and it was traumatising. My mum suggested Brogans as she used to take my brother there when he was a kid and so we made an impromptu visit down to brogans today. To my shock and surprise, Debbie was able to keep my son calm and smiling throughout the hair cut and he didn’t cry one bit! Debbie was so calm and flexible, was trying to make the hair cut into a fun experience for him and the best part was that my son could watch the buses go past outside and Debbie was able to get on with the hair cut with him distracted. She not only was able to distract him but also the hair cut was of high standard and let’s be honest, it’s hard to get a 2 year old to sit still so I wasn’t expecting it to be perfect. But I’ll be honest, it was perfect and she understood his hair type and what style would suit him best from the get go.This is definitely going to be my go-to place for his haircuts now and I’m so thankful it’s no longer going to be such a traumatic experience for us all!”

“Incredibly pleased with the service David at Hendy's gave us. I had my mum's ring, and my 2 nans rings and David got one made bigger, and the other rhodium plated so I could match with my platinum rings. With my mums ring, David gave the idea to use the stone for a necklace and with a platinum chain. He did such a good job, communication through text was really helpful once the pieces were ready to collect. Highly recommend our local gem of a jewellers.”

“Have been going to Reign&Co for over 2 years now, they have never failed to deliver the service I have requested! You can go to any of the nail technicians and receive an excellent service! I have moved away and still drive 30mins to come back to this nail salon to get my nails done!”

“I have been many times to this restaurant over the last 25 plus years. There is a set price evening buffet menu available, which was £15 per person the first time I visited, this has now risen over the years to £26.90. A very good selection of starters and main courses are available. As long as you finish any ordered food, there is no limit to what you can order. A pad and pen are on the table to write the dishes you would like to order. My favourites are the starters, especially the selection of ribs. The crispy duck is excellent. If you have room, there is a very good choice of main courses to choose from. I have never had a bad meal here, or had bad service. If you like Chinese food, this is a must visit place.”

“My local Costa, preferred to the Cafe Nero and Starbucks both within 100yds, mainly because I started as soon as Costa opened and I’m used to the taste. Apparently their flat white is the strongest on the High Street. It does me!”

“I usually don't post reviews about stores because they are basically all the same. But this store is very organised and most importantly the best customer service. Manager was very cooperative and active. And i can understand why everything was perfect. A few days ago, I bought a charging cable in 5 pounds from another store and i was happy to see the same cable in 1.45 pound. The prices are very good. I think this is the best place. I have very good experience. Please ignore the negative comments because in the past the things may have been worse. But now, it was perfect place. I will definitely recommend.”
