“I had the lamb curry dosa and it was icredibly delicious. The lamb curry was beautifully spiced and accompanied with a tomato chutney and an amazing coconut and mint chutney. Both ladies served me with a smile (which always goes a long way imo). Will definitely be travelling the 8 miles for this!”

“Eaten here twice, and it was delicious both times. First was a choose your own stirfry with lots of veggies. More recently, I wasn't very hungry, so I tried the chilli garlic mogo (pictured after I'd started eating), so flavoursome and big enough for a light meal on its own. Highly recommended!”

“Excellent food! We recently found out about Bang Bang and we’re able to try T.H.E Formosa and we’re delighted at how good it was. We had the popcorn chicken, bao, and pak choi. The chicken was perfect - it was crispy and succulent and so tasty. The bao was just as delicious as was the steamed pak choi. The pak choi in particular was fantastic. It had a lovely smoky flavour and came with a lovely dressing. There’s lots to choose from at Bang Bang but T.H.E Formosa is definitely my favourite!”

“We tried this place because of the 4.7 star reviews on Google reviews and it more than lived up to its rating. The food was incredible!! Seriously the best food I've had on Edgware Road. The mix grill was exquisite and grilled to perfection. The mixed shawarma wrap was served in the bread they make at the restaurant and was fantastic. Excellent service from the young lady waiter. The bill was very reasonable for the quality of food served. Please give this place a go if you're on Edgware Road!”

“We had a wonderful experience at Darna restaurant. The waiter was very kind and served us so many delicious starters, we were full before even starting the mains! The mains were absolutely delicious too and I loved he mango juice I ordered. Really enjoyable experience and we were even served free tea and baklawa which was very nice of them since it was Eid. “5 stars for taste and quality. Probably the best moussaka in the UK. An unexpected surprise, made with fresh ingredients balanced spices and cooked to perfection. Tasty charcoal cooked souvlaki, Juicy and tender. Clean place with good space between tables. Large seating area. Joyful deco. The shop is not perfect, there are a lot of dishes on the menu that were not available, but it has huge potential to become one of the best restaurants in the area, especially now with the new chef who has huge experience in Greek cuisine. Definitely needs a visit.”

“Me and my mum came in last minute and we were served straight away. The service was amazing. We ordered a chicken shish, rice and sweet potato fries to split and it was delicious there was plenty of food for the two of us. Best chicken shish that we’ve had in a while. The atmosphere was lovely very nicely decorated. Would definitely come again.”

“Every time we tried anything new from this place was great. And just the usual chicken shawarma, that you would think you would get bored of, it's just amazing. The way they cook and marinade that chicken makes it juicy and very tasty. They made their own app, which is easy to use, though it has a bit of a delay but nothing too annoying and the deliveries are quick and w/o delays. Eating in is great as well, i just want to give a shout-out to Elif who is a great waitress and always smiling even when 5 people order with her at the same time(should get a raise probably). Again, the food looks amazing and tastes amazing. Shout-out to the chefs as well, they do a great job too and they are always busy and somehow still get the food on time. Well done guys!”

“Absolutely loved the food. Everything was perfect. From the complimentary lentil soup starter to the traditional tea, thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The meat was perfectly seasoned and grilled. The bread was scrumptiously soft and fluffy. The salads and condiments were all really flavourful. Could not fault a thing. The food service was really fast. Staff was courteous. “Couldn’t have picked a better place for a delicious, filling, authentic curry meal for our first night in London. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We did not know this was a BYOB establishment, and when he realized that we’d wished we had known that, he told us to run next door and buy some beers from Aldi - and he saved the table for us! We are Americans and did not know how to properly eat our prawn puri appetizer, so he comically showed us the way. Food was 10/10 delicious. We cleaned our plates - which is rare for us. Maybe we were just hungry from the long day of travel, but I think there is something very special about this place. You will not be disappointed if you visit Akash!”

“Best Turkish kebap around Mill Hill and Edgware. Use to live just around the corner in 2007-2009 then moved to Harrow but still come here for food.
