With a total bill of just over £100 for two, including drinks, it’s a fantastic value compared to central London’s sushi spots. We even had leftovers to take home. “Excellent experience, loved the food. Had the salmon delight breakfast, it tasted wonderful and I would highly recommend it. I especially enjoyed the various cut fruits which came with the breakfast. It made the breakfast more wholesome, healthy, and enjoyable. Only thing I would suggest is the pancakes were not my favourite, maybe it didn't have much sugar in the flour mix. Don't know if that's a positive or negative thing, healthy Vs tasty. Maybe some would have a different experience with the pancakes. Also, don't need to decorate the breakfast with flowers etc, the food was excellent already so it doesn't add much apart from maybe cost to the restaurant. Overall, excellent food, lovely staff, cozy vibe, wonderful experience, would come back and highly recommend.”

“Couldn’t have picked a better place for a delicious, filling, authentic curry meal for our first night in London. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We did not know this was a BYOB establishment, and when he realized that we’d wished we had known that, he told us to run next door and buy some beers from Aldi - and he saved the table for us! We are Americans and did not know how to properly eat our prawn puri appetizer, so he comically showed us the way. Food was 10/10 delicious. We cleaned our plates - which is rare for us. Maybe we were just hungry from the long day of travel, but I think there is something very special about this place. You will not be disappointed if you visit Akash!”

“Best Turkish kebap around Mill Hill and Edgware. Use to live just around the corner in 2007-2009 then moved to Harrow but still come here for food. Been a customer for 18 years and never once disappointed. Good service, friendly staff, excellent quality of food and good portion size. Absolute gem”

“Very clean pleasant rooms and generously laden with freebies such as toiletries, water and biscuits. The best part is the bar and restaurant downstairs. The food is top quality and the room has to be seen to be believed as no 2D photo will do it justice. It is like stepping into Wonderland with Alice. The staff are lovely as well; attentive, helpful and genuinely charming. I had an early start the next day so was disturbed by the music until 1am but it is worth a little lack of sleep for the spectacular visual experience and warm welcome I received. Tunes were good too. This place is like nowhere on Earth.”

“Just had a fabulous birthday party at Samis for 24 people. The table was beautifully laid in the colours I requested, the food was exactly what I asked for and the service was excellent. It was so successful that the guests didn't want to leave! A true sign of a successful evening!”

We were a particularly difficult group, large group of 17 of us, all with complicated needs, I was overwhelmed and they were my family so god knows how they felt. But they were calm, attended to our needs, respectful when they really could have left us too it. The food was incredible, quality and quantity both great, to say we were full is an understatement, we had to take food home! Always a good sign! Would definitely go again, maybe not with my whole family!”

“Amazing little place wondered around the area and found this place had a look and decided to stop in, having never heard or tried Romanian cuisine it was an uncertainty but I was gladly surprised. Would recommend it to any one in the area. Decently priced and the food was OK can't really compare it to other places but it was a generally nice experience in a pretty bland street.”

“Superb food. Been here once before and was amazed at how huge their portions are! Fried chicken in black bean sauce was amazing, they also give lots of fried chicken thigh pieces accompanied by ginger and herb rice - I asked for the meal to be a little spicy and they kindly accommodated. Really good value for money will be coming back here again next time for sure! We ordered two plates of food the first time but really 3 people could share one plate! Had to buy takeaway containers to take the excess food home.”
