“Had a meal here recently to celebrate a birthday with friends and had a pleasant experience. Elegant interiors and friendly staff greeted us and we were led to our table. It was a bit busy but we didn't feel rushed or that the place was bursting. Good wine, delicious hot chocolate and since it was a Sunday afternoon, we decided to get the seafood starter lamb and seafood roast. The food was delicious and elegantly plated and looked like art. The courgette fries were a bit disappointing though as they were soggy and the coating had all vanished so it felt like we were having raw courgette slices. That tiny blip aside, the afternoon went perfect and the cheesecake at the end made it even more memorable.”

I ordered the lavender honey latte and the avocado toast with poached eggs and truffle oil—and let me tell you, my taste buds threw a party. The latte was silky, floral, and perfectly balanced (not a hint of soapiness, which is a lavender crime I’ve suffered elsewhere). The toast? Crispy sourdough, creamy avocado, eggs cooked to runny perfection, and that truffle oil… chef’s kiss. Portions are generous but not overwhelming, and every ingredient screams quality. The staff? Absolute angels. My barista, Leo, noticed I was sketching and brought over a tiny complimentary matcha madeleine “for inspiration.” Service this thoughtful should be illegal. “My partner and I came here for our 4 year anniversary and we can say that we will definitely be returning! The food was excellent, with a wide range of dishes to choose from, and the service was also brilliant. We were looked after by Birol, who was our host/waiter for the evening, and he was a very polite, friendly and funny gentlemen! “We visited Yammas Greek Restaurant on Monday 15/12/2025 to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. “We were returning from a hospital appointment in London and decided to stop at Ask Italian in Beckenham so that we could be joined by my sister who lives there and lunch together. The service was excellent. Our daughter is in a complex wheelchair and staff at the restaurant went above and beyond to find a table in a comfortable space. There was exceptional attention to our daughter's needs and to my choice of food as I have food allergies. The food, the drink, the kindness and care were notable and guaranteed we would return there again and again. Having a very accessible toilet for our daughter turned this visit to a restaurant into one of the best we have experienced. Thank you to all the staff in so many ways. Jill, Nick and Amy xx”
