It has plenty of lychees, pineapples and green beans etc and tender meaty roast duck. The sauce is a perfect consistency and quite hot. “This is a gem of a restaurant. The pasta dishes are absolutely amazing. We’ve been visiting for several days and finally stopped in to eat. We were not disappointed in the food or service. We had the pheasant and the rabbit dishes and they were fantastic! We even went back a second night and had the same dishes and my son had the steak; it was delicious. Everything is made to order and comes out piping hot. The service is absolutely wonderful very friendly and personable. Of all the places we ate in London this was by far the best!”

“This place is well worth a visit. Was difficult to find the current menu, see attached pictures. I was told this is because they are in the process of updating to a brand new menu. The food here is really tasty and portions are very generous. We visited as a group of four and all left full and happy. The manager Danielle is very welcoming. The wine list is good and very affordable. The interior is a little dated but that's easy to overlook as the food, wine and service was great.”

“This was my first visit to this restaurant which was chosen by my client for a business meeting because he is vegan. There are more Plant Based options on the menu than not and they all looked / tasted great. For those of us who also eat meat, I can say the venison was spectacular. Both of us left having truly appreciated a fantastic meal. The venue was perfect, great location in a sophisticated part of town and the ambience was well judged. It's not the biggest restaurant but there was enough space between tables to have discrete conversations without concern. As a further vote of confidence, I will be visiting again in the new year with my wife... AND DOG :) Sean, our fantastic waiter positively encouraged me to bring our dog. Table 6 is probably best if you bring your furry friend because its a little removed from the other tables. I'm looking forward to my next visit - thanks again for the great service Sean.”

“I visited Rai for my birthday lunch as a solo diner and chose the 13-course Omakase. It was an incredible, intimate experience where the chef’s expertise really shone - each dish was beautifully crafted, and watching the skill and precision behind them made it even more special. Standouts for me were the butterfish, eel with grated black truffle, spicy scallop, and the black cod main. A lovely surprise was a complimentary glass of champagne and a birthday dessert with a candle, which made the whole experience extra memorable.
