“This is an excellent garage. My son in law had an issue with his car after driving down from Bedford. Didn’t know exactly what it was as there were no warning lights but he couldn’t get over about 30mph. They worked really hard figuring out the problem but eventually solved it, replaced the necessary parts and test drove it. All at a very reasonable price and taking time to explain and show to my son in law what they had needed to do. Good, old fashioned service.”

“It's been a while since I'd eaten at The Red Lion. I was excited to return, as I've always enjoyed the food and the riverside setting is stunning. It's was a bit rainy when we went, so we sat in the lovely restaurant area. It was 5pm during the week, so it was quiet when we arrived. We were served by a few different members of staff during our meal. The service was friendly, professional and attentive. It's a great menu with good choice (without being to big). The starters were all delicious, and they also have a choice of bar snacks, so my son chose the croquettes from that part of the menu. The mains were also great. Generous portions, beautifully presented, all delicious and made with quality ingredients. Our children wanted desserts, so my wife and I, although very full, shared an apple tarte tatin. It was amazing. All in all, an outstanding meal, and a big step up from normal pub food. A lovely NZ sauvignon blanc at a reasonable price too! Highly recommend.”

“I ordered this today off uber eats, and I must say by far this is definitely the best Aromatic duck I’ve ever tasted. Seasoned and cooked to perfection and a very large portion. Very generous with free savoury confectionary such as prawn crackers and fortune cookies, everyone loves a fortune cookie, especially this time of year! “Luke is fantastic! I came to Luke with an issue with my lower back and hips which had left me struggling to do exercise and often in tears. Luke gave me practical advice, what exercises I could do including physio exercises. He helped me to understand my back issues and the healing process (including helping me with my patience lol) The sports massage was brilliant - I left feeling so much better. Luke regularly checks in with me to get updates on the progress on my back and hips and how the physio exercises are going. I would recommend Luke to anyone for physio or just a sports massage. The service, knowledge, expertise, understanding and friendliness from Luke is wonderful.”
