“I've been meaning to leave a review because this is a family favourite. My family and I visit this place whenever we can because it's the most authentic and delicious Italian menu there is - you can't get more authentic than real Italians. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and the dishes are well made each time. The owners always go out of their way to welcome us and to create a warm atmosphere in the restaurant. Would really recommend it to anyone in the area - beats any Italian restaurant chain by a mile.”

During my recent visit, I was blown away by the freshness and flavour of their rolls, which were not only unique, but also incredibly filling and offered great value for money. Making it the perfect destination whether you're popping in for a quick lunch or settling in for dinner My order: Siam Peanut Chicken roll - a standout, boasting a rich and aromatic sauce that paired beautifully with the tender chicken Soft Shell Crab roll - another favourite Gold Sand Choco & Strawberry Pistachio Soufflé - amazing! The only downside would be the limited seating. However, this minor inconvenience is easily remedied by opting for takeout as enjoying their delicious food on the move would be easy enough. Overall, I'd highly recommend!”

Chicken biriyani with rice is also very good. Piri piri Chips are great . Food cooked well and you don't wait long. Some seating and tables inside too.”

“Amazing food. Koibideh with rice , Ashe Rishte… favulous taste and quality. Had the pahlavi street mocktail. Not too sweet and not bland, just right for a light discernible palate . Loved it! Overall 10/ 10 for food and ambience and our server was also very nice and kind … definitely a must visit! Will be returning soon”

“Excellent neighbourhood cafe for hearty & very reasonably priced food, open Monday to Saturday. Service is exceptionally efficient and fast, the cafe is also very clean. We go fairly regularly, and I also order for collection, which you can ring up ahead if helpful. I didnt give 5 stars on atmosphere only because of the slightly loud extractor fan running in the background.”

“We booked here for a swift supper before traveling. All worked very well. Food was excellent the fish very fresh. Pasta cooked perfectly. All the extras provided,olive oil, Parmesan cheese etc. We were served promptly. Location very good and price very reasonable for London! It was quiet noisy,but then I was very busy. Only negative,they have 5 for hygiene,however no beard net in site for the pizza man,which was a pity,as it was very clear to see. Wine prices were very good. Loos all tidy. It possible to sit outside as well. Definitely book!It's popular. Thank you.”

“Stumbled upon this place late at night after a concert at Electric Brixton, it was wonderful! We were so happy they were open past 11pm serving food. The food was great, and the customer service was amazing, very friendly and welcoming. It was nice to see so many people with their friends and families late at night enjoying a delicious meal. We had the mixed grill, tawouk chicken, naughty chips and hummus, great portions for a decent price. We will be back!”

“Was searching for a Romanian restaurant and this was the “closest” to central London I found and seemingly there is a large East European community leaving around here. First thing I’ll say is that the restaurant looks much nicer than the pictures I’d seen. It was very modern and nicely decorated like an old Romanian tavern from the Middle Ages. Secondly the food was super authentic, very meat focused and delicious. The portions were huge and I thought it offered great value for money. Mains start at 8£ and go up to 18£ for a sharing platter which is a bargain for the amount you get. There were no other customers inside which was a shame but I am sure it gets busy at times. Overall paid £31 for two excluding tip; would highly recommend and return.”

“I went to Zen Grill for the very first time on Saturday afternoon. I just wanted a quick snack. I ordered grilled Chicken on a Pitta bread which came with chips and salad. I also had a Greek beer called Mythos . The service was wonderful with a great waiter. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and calm atmosphere. Greek music playing along with Zorba's theme . I highly recommend as the prices are very reasonable. Looking forward to going back soon Derek”
