“We have just returned from lunch at Giacomos which is one of our favourite restaurants. They always serve excellent meals with good service and today was no exception. We had a three course delicious meal with wine and coffee which was served promptly and competitively priced. We’ll be back!”

“I've eaten here a few times now with a group of friends and we have always had a fabulous time. The duck is the best I've ever eaten and my rare steak was perfect. The cocktails take a moment but are worth waiting for. There are usually six of us who eat together and a couple of them can be quite fussy but we regularly come back to Alcedo as we have never had a complaint from our group. The staff are friendly, welcoming and professional.”

“I had dinner with a friend at the restaurant and then drinks at their speakeasy, Cinco. Loved the atmosphere, the service was EXCELLENT- both at the restaurant and at the speakeasy. The mushroom tacos were amazing - and the margarita cocktails were also very tasty. Can’t wait to go again.”

“Absolutely amazing and authentic Colombian food. We came for lunch and it wasn't busy at first, but the restaurant soon filled up towards 2pm and the atmosphere was great. Felt like being in Latin America. The traditional Colombian breakfast a an absolute steal for the price and fills you up for the day. The bistec a caballo was also outstanding, even though I would've liked it cooked a bit more medium. The coffee was lovely as well.”

“Shared nachos and a sharing selection. Absolutely amazing. The pible was so flavourful, the chicken taco was out of this world and the peach and orange mocktail was so refreshing. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was great from table near the bar, ( no criticism, I was very thankful to be seated away from the main area with lots of people.) From the outside it was so quiet but as you opened the door it was full of people happily eating. Not a drinker but a great selection of tequila and the cocktails looked amazing. Took our churros home as we were comfortably full, ate them later and they were still perfectly crisp on the outside with a nice chewy center. The dark chocolate and chilli dip was lovely, not overly hot but enough to add depth of flavour to the sauce.will definitely return with family”

“Very good authentic Chinese Restaurant. Nice cosy place. Tasty food with friendly service. Need to reserve a table before you go as it is always full. Have few public parking spaces around. The toilets are very clean, compared to other restaurants, I am very pleased about this. Recommend for families”

“I ordered hainanese chicken rice and that is so good. Chicken meat is tender and nice, cook to the perfection. Rice is full with fragrance, and the ginger sauce is just superb. Will definitely give it a try again when I visit London next time”

“I liked them, and Greek food they serve! I have been there twice, the first one we went with mezzes and the second one with main dishes. I loved each time the food I tried! I especially liked baked feta cheese pastry, which was nice with thin dough. I also liked the kofte (meatball) I tried yesterday evening. Although they serve Greek food, the staff is not Greek and there are non-Greek dishes on the menu. It’s located close to St Pancras/King’s Cross, quite central and easy to walk from the station. The staff is nice and kind, they serve really nice. In the last time, we did not have a res and just walked in; the guy was so kind in preparing a table for us right away. The food is good and nicely prepared and I would say the portions are big anough as well. It’s a good value for quality and moderate pricing. Highly recommended!”

“We had a whole Birthday evening arranged for my girlfriend, we were to come to you guys and then go to a show. You guys got us in and out so quick as we had a few issues getting into London and we’re behind but you looked after us so we’ll in such a short amount of time we felt so valued and the food was absolutely fantastic we could not fault it in any way. Anyway the show got cancelled last minute so we came back to you and had an even better evening than expected!! My girl worked her way through your cocktail list, of which were all very very good, and she’s a hard one to please but she loved every single one. I had nearly every non alcoholic cocktail you make and was equally impressed. We sat and watched you all working the kitchen was mesmerising to see in action and we really felt that we were genuinely looked after not just customers on the end of the bar that needed seeing to. Thank you so so much for making what could have been a washout a very pleasurable experience and we will be coming back very soon with friends next time.”

“This is a great little place - if you’re looking for somewhere to eat before a show (we were), it’s handily close to the theatre and thoroughly good. We were running late and the guys delivered an excellent meal very quickly. Sea bass fillets; stuffed peppers -both were delicious. Good value, great service, what’s not to like? Nice atmosphere as well - lively but not too loud.”

“Brilliant local independent family run, proper old skool pub for drinkers. I'm lucky to live right opposite. Great atomosphere, always friendly. Nice seating area at the front. Very reasonable prices. Try it out! There is no food here, but some snacks and small bites sometimes. Now has a nice garden area at the back.”

“We had the absolute best time at this gem of a theatre. Arrived early and spent time in the gorgeous bar, where the drinks were on point. Ordered food to enjoy during the movie. The theatre itself is kitted out with two person sofas. You pick where you want to sit beforehand. There ain’t a bad seat in the place. Our food and more drinks were delivered before the show started. The service was excellent, friendly and prompt. Can’t wait to come back here again. Thanks for a great night!”
