“Booked the beer garden last minute for my husband's surprise birthday party and everyone had the best time! The beer garden is a fab spot on a sunny day and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They allowed us to decorate the area we booked in advance, stored our cake, and checked in throughout the afternoon/evening to make sure everything was going to plan. The food, especially the sliders, went down a treat. Would highly recommend for any parties/big group gatherings! Looking forward to our next visit.”

“I ordered the chicken pizza and grilled peri peri chicken from Wings Cottage, both were superb. The peri peri chicken wings, with jalapeños, onions, and flavorful sauce, was a standout. The pizza had a crispy crust and fresh vegetables, making it one of the best and prices are completely cheap compared to other places. The shop is very neat and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Parking is easily available nearby. Highly recommended.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had our engagement party at Chak 89, and it was the most beautiful night! The hall looked stunning, the stage setup was impressive, and the staff were incredibly attentive. Everyone from the waiters to the managers had such friendly and professional attitudes — you could tell they genuinely cared about making the event special. The food was a delightful mix of Pakistani and Indian dishes, and guests couldn’t stop praising it. Plenty of space for dancing and entertainment, and the parking area was huge. Fantastic service, great atmosphere, and wonderful people — 10/10!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“I liked shopping in this store. The aisles were well stocked, nicely arranged, and quite spacious. What I liked most is that there were plenty of vegan products for good prices. Plus, there were a lot of special offers on a variety of products. Lots of Veganuary offers. The fresh produce seemed to be of a good quality. For a Sunday afternoon, and considering the situation, the store was pretty well stocked up.”

“Really nice park. One side has swings and stuff and the other side has a splash pad (which is finally open) and there are tennis courts too. Very happy kids. The only thing missing is a cafe but overall it’s great!”

“I ordered starters crispy squid, gizzard and there was another order of chofi. Must say the squid wasn’t nice at all. It was shaped like nuggets not your usual ring shape which made it taste battery instead of tasting the actual squid quite disappointing. Must say the rest of the starters that was ordered were really nice and well seasoned. Also the moko it came with was delicious. I got jollof as takeaway yet to taste it. Deffo do recommend this restaurant service was great.”

“Entrance is via the corner door, where you sign in, either in a book on the bar, or scan the QR code that is next to it. There’s another QR code on the wall to your left. Then find a seat indoors or in the garden and there is efficient table service by the friendly staff. The seats outside include substantial, concrete framed, benches. No flimsy deckchairs here! There is a marquee if you want to get out of the sun, or to watch the TV. Being on the corner of Upper Green West and London Road, the bus-only route through Mitcham town centre, it's not a noisy place to be. Oh, and you can always take time to look at the architecture of this listed pub, built by Youngs Brewery in around 1900. Pint of Carling lager for £2.70p. Brakspear bitter also on draught at £2.90p a pint. Guinness is £4.10p a pint.”

“I have eaten in this restaurant and also ordered pizza via deliveroo and I can honestly say the pizzas are amazing. A personal favourite is the Duck Pizza from the Gourmet menu. When visiting the restaurant staff are always welcoming and friendly.”

“Carriann is the ONLY dog groomer I will ever use. Carriann goes above and beyond to bond with the animal she is grooming to make the experience enjoyable for both herself and the pet. Carriann is exceptionally skilled at what she does and I trust her 100% with my dog. Teddy is epileptic and Carriann takes her time with him and updates me straight afterwards with so much detail which I love. Teddy always goes in and comes out happy. I have followed Carriann even when she moved and now I live nearly 2 hours from her but there is no one in the world I trust more than Carriann and she will be grooming my dogs for as long as she can :) thank you for always being the best!”

“It was amazing, i met this really friendly couple they were called Joe Goldberg and Kate. We became friends, Really great food. Though across the street there is a creepy looking door thats locked. Also saw some weird girl with a book wandering around the area.”

“Never went to the school but I saw some children from this school on the bus today and it was very busy- the children were extremely behaved and you could just tell that the staff had a passion for those children. Overall I’m very impressed”
