“I had such a comfortable and relaxing stay at Hilton Syon Park. The service was excellent throughout, the staff were really attentive and friendly. The hotel was spotless, and the atmosphere felt calm and luxurious. I stayed for my anniversary and been with friends few times I enjoyed an amazing dinner there, and I also booked a massage during my spa weekend, which was absolutely wonderful and worth every moment. Overall, it was a perfect spa getaway. Highly recommend!”

“We had a fantastic meal at the Guru Tandoori last night (Friday night). Thanks to others' review comments we had no trouble finding it, so that all worked out fine (thanks to others for sharing the detail). Our waiter was welcoming and helpful in respect of allergy advice and our menu choice. Disagree with comments about the venue being dingy - we absolutely loved the atmosphere and the quirky setting. Our table was right by the window and although it was dark outside (so no view of the river) the moon was just about full so there was lots of glistening water alongside us for the first part of our meal (until the tide went out)! This, along with the ambient lighting inside was lovely for us - I'm hypersensitive to harsh lighting, so I'd totally recommend this venue as ideal if you also struggle with this. Also totally recommend the food. I had prawn biryani, very good indeed, no scrimping on the prawns or the flavour - best I've had in a VERY long time. My husband had the vegetable dhansak which he found very tasty. The menu had plenty of choice and was very reasonably priced too. Lovely meal, great service. We were staying in the area (Novotel Brentford) for a visit to Kew Gardens so if you're doing similar we'd heartily recommend eating here after a day in the gardens, it was the perfect end to a very good day.”

“One of children's favourite indoor playgrounds. There are also an outdoor playground, and a football pitch. There are 5 party rooms with different theme/interior design. There's a cafe there. If you book a party for 2 hours, the kids will play for 1.5 hours, and then the last 30 minutes they'll gather in the party room to eat, and blow the candle. If you come by public transportation, it's better to stop at Brent Lea Bus Stop, not Syon Park Bus Stop. The direction from the google maps wasn't accurate so we had to ask some people where the place it. Toilets for customers are available.”

I've eaten in a few times; its just opened so the inside isn't flashy and grand but there's no doubting the food quality! Good portion sizes, reasonably priced and the staff are lovely! “Brilliant pints, brilliant views. Plenty of space in this Fullers Pub for larger gatherings and, perfectly located between Brentford and Richmond so lots of access to places to eat before or after, but that's not even needed because I would recommend eating here!”

“I have very recently discovered this pub. Went with family for dinner and the food was incredible. The chef paid a lot of attention to detail by asking us how we wanted certain dishes to be cooked and how hot / spicy we wanted them. The bar staff was also incredibly attentive and helpful. I look forward to coming back very soon.”

“We visited Syon Lounge to celebrate our anniversary, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The shisha, food, and dessert were all delicious and well-presented. “Regular stayer. Pretty much faultless. The rooms are spotless and the housekeeping ladies do an excellent job turning a room around even in busy times. Front of house is a bit dated now but the service provided by the staff is excellent very happy to accommodate even the most tiresome of visitors. Nothing is too small or big for all the staff who are very attentive and have a great positive attitude. Jesvil is very good as the manager, and has his staff/colleages are a tribute to him. Great team. Ultimate Wi-Fi is faultless too.”

“Super-cosy café next to the train station. The 2 lovely ladies behind the till are doing a great job! And the prices… for the same double espresso I’ll have to pay close to £5 in Clapham Common when here it’s £2.75. They’ve got a lovely tiny terrace with 6 easy-moving tables! I think I have to move in this area…”

“Ever so lucky to have Speedy Mobile Tyre Fittier guy come to rescue. Very prompt to help us. He recommends quality tyres and not the rubbish ones, ensures its properly done and well balanced. We got his number and Speedy Mobike Tyre Fitter is now our choice fitter. Back in the road now. Wahoo!”

“Newly opened Morrisons supermarket (moved from opposite side of the street to brand new development Brentford Project). It has Market Kitchen (cafe and refreshments with a seating area), a pharmacy, butcher, bakery, pizzas, salads & meal deal stands, customers’ toilets, etc. All the products and services are well presented. Big self scan check out area for trolley and basket. Lower basement 24/7 car park is very convenient. Morrison’s customer with 5 pound spending has 90 minutes free parking (need a barcode from the till). Good lifts service access to car park.”
