“Genuinely nice family running the shop. Very friendly atmosphere, mum and daughter are very chatty. I went on Friday evening just for some chips, they were excellent and fresh. However they only take cash payment, which is fine by me as I'm old school. Do check if they are open in the month of August as they close the shop for holiday.”

“Fantastic place to acquire your favourite beverages. The trio of men who work there are all extremely polite. It's reminiscent of a time when customer service actually existed in retail stores in the UK. The young man will greet you on entry without fail making you feel welcomed immediately as soon as ones foot crosses the threshold of their abode. The older gentlemen is extremely friendly and helpful, always up for a quick chat. The slightly more senior younger man is also incredibly polite, will always ask if you need a bag and one time I was sold an expired vape (2 days expired). The man before the vape had entered my pocket had a look at it, and immediately refunded me. A great attention to detail. I cannot fathom someone not having a great experience at this establishment.”

“Great mocha and vegan mozzarella and tomato panini!!! The cheese was so good in it - like the real thing. My second visit and would definitely come back again. Even more vegan options would be amazing, eg. cakes. Staff member was a bit quiet”

“My goodness this restaurant is incredible and delicious! We had a big party of 8 people and service was remarkable. Beautiful atmosphere and wide variety of menu options and lots of gluten free options! Alex took such great care of all of us and went out of his way to make sure all of my dishes were celiac friendly! I highly recommend this spot. The Patatas Bravas were particularly delicious! “Absolutely wonderful little pub set very much in suburbia. The outdoor seating in the front as we entered was being well used with TVs up for football etc. The barman was very friendly as were the locals inside. And when the sign above the door says 'Mind your head', mind your bloody head!! It hurts!! Anyway, the Guinness was superb as was the Surrey Hills brewery Ranmore.”

“The lovely pub hosted our daughter's 40th Birthday party in the side room off the main bar. We were able to decorate the room and also to have a local guitarist entertain us together with a fab face painter. Our party was able to order yummy food and drinks from the bar. I can't thank Nick and his super staff more. Highly recommend this great pub..”

“Recently refurbished village pub and hotel. Great new menu, friendly staff, brilliant playlist, surprisingly superb Amaretto Sours! And even a great spot for a morning coffee after your dog walk. The doggy delights station is a favourite for four legged friends.”

“Fabulous stay at The Foley. All the staff are amazing, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was large, clean and well decorated. Very good complementary toiletries in bathroom to use. Ate in both nights and food was delicious. Would definitely go back if needed to stay in Surrey again.”

“Debbie provided us with a delicious afternoon tea following a family funeral. Everything was freshly made and delivered perfectly on time. Our guests had nothing but praise for the food, including a great selection of sandwiches, canapes, including mini quiches and vol-au-vents, cakes, scones and fresh fruit tarts. “The good Earth is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food is absolutely delicious. We had the chicken satay and chicken and chive dumplings for starters, char siu pork and kaarage chicken for main and a coffee and crème brûlée for dessert. The service is very friendly and the staff are very attentive. Would recommend for anyone to check out!”

“My dad took me here and at first I was sceptical, as I’m very much a beginner in spice and not always in the mood for a late dinner night out. But once I was there I didn’t want to go! The staff and very helpful, nice and definitely know their Indian food! And the spice? Don’t worry, from beginners to spice pros it’s perfect! There’s a lot of effort put into this great restaurant! “Had my lawn mower serviced by Ernest Doe, They steam cleaned the mower, replaced the spark plug, put in new oil, sharpened and balanced the blade, check wheels, cables, etc. Excellent customer service and completed within four days, completion was targeted for 7-10 days.”

“A friend suggested The Prince of Wales for lunch and it did not disappoint! It's not long been refurbished and it looks fabulous, complete with private dining, by the looks of it. Their outdoor space is one of the best I've experienced, with much of it sheltered if it does start to rain. We spent hours there with no pressure to vacate. Karen and her team are all experienced, friendly and exceptionally professional. Many thanks, Karen, we will be back!”
