“They're now open on Monday's. Just hot, delicious & authentic Thai food. Will definitely go again & recommend!. It's on a one way system & free to park after 7pm. We had the special salad as below -spicy & crunchy yummy!”

“A last minute booking to take my father out for lunch. I hadn’t been here before , and my father had mixed reviews but I thought the menu looked good. I dont know why it would have mixed reviews, the staff and food were faultless. We were welcomed warmly and seated comfortably by the window. We were attended to quickly through our visit, but never rushed. Between 3 of us we had Bruschetta, Calamari and Gamberoni to start. Followed by Pesce Spada alla Sicilian (2), and Spiedini di Pesce and finished with a cheesecake , affogato and an Espresso. My favourite dishes were the Gamberoni which was a generous portion of prawns bathing in a garlicky butter and spinach sauce, and Pesce Spada , a large piece of swordfish smothered in a rich tomato, olive and caper berry sauce with a fresh and zesty side salad. Thank you to Casa Blanca for brightening a dreary Thursday. We will see you again”

“Visited the great new tearoom formerly known as Tashas Tearoom in Cheam Village today . Was greeted with a lovely welcome from the new owner Sally and her husband Alan straight away . Lovely homely feel to the place . Plenty of tables to sit at. We ordered drinks which came very quickly from the owners son George , lovely lad who was very helpful. We then ordered the Tuna and cheese Panini which came with some crisps and a small salad garnish, well presented and very tasty , would highly recommend a visit to this cozy tearoom that will prove to be an asset to Cheam Village.”

“So glad i live around the corner from this place. They remain the BEST in SUTTON. Their food is always fresh with large portions and very fast delivery. What i love the best about this place is that even though i live 5 min walk away they still dont hesitate to deliver it. They always make sure that the delivered food is hot. “[SHORT VERSION] One of the best Japanese food we’ve had in London. Prices were MORE than reasonable and the portions are big. You should eat here. [LONG VERSION] The Food: We first had the Yuzu Yellowtail Tiradito. The first mouthful me and my partner had, we looked at each other and said, this sort of flavours could be easily served in fine dining restaurants. Very complex sweet, sour, and a small beautiful hint of spiciness to it and then the yellowtail tasted so fresh. Not one bit of slimy/fishy smell or flavour to it. We then had the mixed tempura. There was no usual dipping sauce and we thought it was a bit sad, but when we had our first bite, it was so crunchy and tasty that too much sauce would ruin it. You could really taste the freshness of the prawn. My partner and I think that proper japanese chefs pay attention to detail, so we check how they prepare their food, and they delivered. The tails of the prawns were completely clean with no black marks at all and the vegetables were so fresh too. We also had the pork katsu curry, which had the entire bowl covered with the pork cutlet and a really powerful japanese curry sauce(very flavourful)[no photo as someone took a better one that does justice to it]. The Chef and the Place: To be honest, I found out about this restaurant passing by it early morning(it was closed) on our to the bus stop, and I checked the reviews(high). I thought we would drop by later that night. They said that they don’t do reservations as it is really a small place(mainly takeaways), with bar like setting(stools lined up along the window and along where the chef prepares sushi) and 1 small table on the side. We went in later for dinner and were surprised that there wasn’t a single Japanese staff in the place, I even looked outside to check if we were in the right place. So we’re like, ok let’s just order, we’re here already and as soon as we tasted the food, we loved it. We talked to this Sri Lankan chef and asked how the hell his food tasted this good and we all had a good laugh. He’s been in the Japanese Fine dining field for 25 years and he wanted to start his own little restaurant serving cheap but high quality food. We spent 2 hours talking about Japanese food, and how they store, prepare, and present their food. They even showed us that they use only the highest quality ingredients all the way down to the salt they use for the sushi. These guys are lovely human beings and they are also highly skilled in what they do and they need the recognition. Thank you for the lovely meal. It was a pleasure meeting you guys. P.S. “We haven’t even left yet and I’m writing this review. We arrived as a family of four with one of our daughters being 2 month old, they were so attentive and gave us a good space for our pram and a good place to dine. The food was absolutely amazing, I couldn’t get enough of the seafood linguine, the waiter even put extra cream in my sauce as requested. My wife and eldest daughter both had pizzas and they were so light and fresh, with both of them devouring them within minutes! We live far away so will struggle to return as soon as we’d like, but we WILL be back!”

“This place is an absolute hidden gem in Sutton. The food is fantastic. It is so so amazingly tasty. The portions were large. We ate in and also did take away, with the standard of food being the same whether eat in or takeaway. The lady serving us was efficient and kind. Lots of Chinese people eat and take away here.. we are now regulars here…. And are slowly tasting everything on the menu… with the Singapore laksa being our favourite.”
