“The ladies in this Salon are absolutely amazing. Joanna, Karolina and Kat - you are absolute angels. We started bringing our sweet Cassie here after she had bad experiences with other groomers - she had become afraid of the whole grooming process. Doggies Furever are ALWAYS so patient with her and they never do anything that stresses her out. It's very hard for me to trust anybody with my dog but I trust all of these ladies without any hesitation. Cassie is hard work, she's strong and very stubborn but they always manage to do such an amazing job on her. We went in yesterday and we were emotional because we had received some bad news about our Cassie - not only were they so comforting and supportive, they offered so much advice. Thank you for EVERYTHING xxx”

“Brilliant place to have an indian meal. Very friendly, quiet and cosy atmosphere. They have re-done up the restaurant after lockdown and it looks better. I have not been before, but my girlfriend who lives in the area recommended it and it did not disappoint! The chef is from an Indian background; the cafe staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the dhal meal, with a side portion of steamed rice. Very filling and good value for money :)”

“Very nice small dental practice. Dr Winayak fixed my bleeding and painful gums. I had that problem for years and has been told by a dentist abroad that nothing can be done. Now thanks to Dr Winayak there is no bleeding and most importantly no pain. It’s like a miracle. It was very expensive at the beginning but it was worth every penny. Now we go regularly and it’s much more affordable. Everybody is very nice and friendly and I can make appointments in the afternoons after work with no problem. Definitely recommend.”

“The care Lorna and Simon give to each cat in the entire den is unbelievable! You couldn't leave them in safer hands. They absolutely love cats and that is the most important thing. I've read some poor reviews based on phone calls or emails, but Lorna is a lovely old lady and if you took the time to at least go and meet her and see what a great place it is, you would soon change your minds. Don't judge a book by its cover.”

“Life savers! My builder needed 3 more large bags of sharp sand (1 tonne) and told me late Friday afternoon so that he can complete his work on Saturday (tomorrow). Called different companies such as Selco and all can only deliver on a Monday. I called Seccombe and Keith sorted a delivery to my house within minutes! No joke, I was still on the phone paying for the sharp sand and it had arrived in front of my house. It's in the local area but still to organise a delivery within minutes on a Friday afternoon is what I call exceptional service. Will be using this company from now on!”

“I didn't stay in the hotel, so my comments are on the pub. My family and I visited The Milford Arms pub on Father's Day. The staff were so lovely and the Sunday Roast was amazing! It was so tasty. It was my first time there and I would visit again.”

“My husband and I decided to have a night out in Richmond and we stayed at the Swan Inn because of the very reasonable nightly rate. The pub is located on a quiet street within walking distance to the river and along the river there are walking paths with beautiful scenery. It's also only a 10 minute walk to Richmond city centre where there are even more dining and shopping options. The pub appears to be quite popular, as it was reasonably busy even on a Monday night but the service was still great. Toby, the Manager, was working behind the bar. The Swan Inn also has a Thai Restaurant with inside and outside dining which we decided to try; the portions were perfect and the food was delicious (I ordered the Chicken Stir Fry with Oyster Sauce, my husband ordered a Burger as he's not a huge Thai food person, and we shared an appetizer with chicken wings, pork meatballs, and Thai sausages - forgot to take a picture of the entrees but I have attached a picture of the appetizer). They include a free continental and hot breakfast as part of the stay as well, so we both had the Full English Breakfast. The room was well-lit and appeared recently renovated, and it was en-suite which was really nice. Would definitely recommend The Swan Inn to anyone looking to spend the day in the area.
