“Had a really lovely experience at Wagamama over the weekend. I was having a rare child-free day and was on FaceTime with my mother who lives abroad, and my server, Fatima, was just wonderful. She helped me choose the pork belly ramen - something I’d never tried before - and it was absolutely the right choice: comforting, flavourful, and perfect for the cold weather. Fatima was genuinely warm and personable, and even took a moment to be sweet and engaging with my mom on FaceTime. It was such a small gesture, but it made the whole experience feel really human and memorable. Service like that is exactly why I keep coming back to Wagamama. “I went with my cousin on a last minute date night, we had assorted Pepper soup and spicy Pomo for starters and Abula for main, I must say it was absolutely delicious!! The meat was succulent and the vibe was immaculate, staff were friendly and helpful. If you’re in Croydon and want Nigerian meal will definitely recommend. “The atmosphere at FILTR was great, the coffee (my oat milk latte) was very smooth and tasty, it is great sustainably sourced coffee. I tried their coconut matcha latte on another occasion and I think they do coffee the best (I felt their was not enough matcha itself in the drink, but this may be personal preference). Seating available inside and outside, which is great to sip your coffee when the sun is out! Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, great customer service!”

“The only bar worth visiting in Croydon if you enjoy craft beer. Excellent range of beers both on tap and in the fridge. They usually have food available at weekends, and on weekdays you’re welcome to bring food in. Knowledgable staff.”

“First time @Ayat and loved it. Good was great, flavour dishes prepared with care. Interior looks great has it's own unique flair although music was to loud. Service was a bit lacking. We where seated promptly and our food came out in timely manner but the waitress didn't check on us at all (she was on her phone all the time we where there as we could see from our spot). We need to get up and ask her for another round of drinks as she wasn't paying any attention to us at all.And then she got our simple order for drinks wrong, we where the only costumers there so no distractions and it was quite early an a lazy Sunday. Hope that the service does improve as the food was delicious. Will come back to give it another chance for sure.”

“I have been ordering from them for over a decade now, and the food is consistently good and very reasonable. I highly recommend the Jade Dragon Special Crispy Noodles, which has an assortment of vegetables and several meats and a house special sauce completes the dish, a complete meal in itself for under £7. The prawn crackers are fresh and flavourful, and they've been very kind and helpful when I was convalescing and needed dishes tailored. Always delivered cheerfully, no matter the weather (thank you!).”

“This restaurant is more than twice the distance of my local one but so worth the extra travel time. The dim sum was exceptional, very high quality and well made. It was also very good value compared to the nearest biggest dim sum restaurant. An unexpected added bonus was the Saturday 1pm raffle which was good fun and very generous of the restaurant. Staff and service was great too. No dedicated parking is the only negative. I highly recommend and I will be returning again soon.”

“Good Chinese food with a good selection, I like the following dishes Singapore rice noodles, lemon chicken, special mixed curry, Sweet & Sour Prawn Balls/ Chicken Balls(not to much batter), Deep Fried Chilly Beef, Egg Fried rice, Mushroom Fried Rice or Vegetable fried rice, My dad likes the Singapore fried rice Vegtable, Mushroom or Prawn currys, Niece likes chips and plain curry so a dish to fit how your feeling & time of day. Staff are friendly and can help you pick a dish to suite you, are also willing to make changes like a but more spicy they can do that. Good sized portions too. Do home delivery now too but no card payment”

“We went on a weekday, so I’m sure the vibe will be different at the weekend. We were the only ones there for a good 30-40 mins (7.15pm on a Thursday), but a few more people came in afterwards. Don’t let it deter you though - the food was phenomenal & the service was on point. The food is some of the best indo-chinese I’ve had!”
