    Bespoke Goldsmith

“I'll summarise my review first - Bespoke Goldsmith are absolutely brilliant, Simon is a master at his craft and I couldn't recommend him enough!!! Now for the more detailed version: My previous ring set just wasn't right. The jewellers tried their best, but it was a bit wonky and didn't meet my expectations. In my research for a jeweller who could meet my expectations, I was surprised it was so difficult to find a company in the UK that I viewed as good enough. I found a few reviews and then the instagram for Simon. I was so impressed!!! I very easily organised to meet with him in October '23. His workshop is in a very secure building near Hatton Gardens in London. It's an amazing place. We went through various options to potentially either 'rescue' my original setting or just go for a straight reset. He wasn't pushy at all and advocated for some cheaper options to rescue my current setting. He also did some drawings of a potential new setting. He spent about an hour with me for free, with no guarantee I was going to move forward with anything. He was patient and kind, whilst also very pragmatic and able to very politely push against things I wanted that he felt were unrealistic with other aspects of my design. I went away to consider my options, and went back in January '24 to finalise a reset design and give him my rings. I picked up my reset rings yesterday. :D I found the whole process quite relaxing even though I had a detailed list of requirements. I just really trusted him to do a great job. I wasn't really expecting to see a CAD, but he did share a CAD with me after about eight weeks. The CAD was already nearly perfect. After one subtle modification, they printed a wax, and were even able to set my diamond into it. They shared photos and a video of that with me. They offered for me to come in and see that in person, but I had various work commitments and decided that that was only going to add weeks to the process so I declined that offer. The pictures and videos were enough but it was nice to have had the offer. The rings have blown away my expectations. The quality of the finish of them is amazing. There was a long list of things I had requested and Simon nailed all of them. I'm amazed by how perfect the rings are even under close scrutiny. The rings are masterpieces. I couldn't recommend working with Simon more. He's really excellent, fairly priced, was willing to work with my own stones, and I view him as a master craftsman. I don't think there are very many of those in the UK, and certainly not many who have the same sense of jewellery style as me. The only thing I would note is that I was quoted 8-10 weeks and it ended up taking four months. Thankfully it was absolutely worth the wait, and I didn't have a deadline in the way I suspect many of their customers do. I'm thrilled they're clearly busy enough as they deserve the custom, but I would encourage them to be as realistic as possible when providing time quotes, or at least to provide an update or two if it looks like the timeframe is going to change. They're a really small company and I know they have a fast-track service too, which I would definitely make use of for the right project, so I didn't begrudge them this, I would have just better managed my own expectations. Regardless, I genuinely fully trust them and will use them again if I ever have need. Simon is a lovely guy, extremely calm and as I mentioned before, very pragmatic, which I definitely appreciate. The conversations we had were all high quality, unrushed, dedicated conversations, and he really knows his stuff. I also have to give a huge shoutout to one of his colleagues, Ryan, who seemed to be the person behind-the-scenes who coordinated meetings/payments/paperwork etc and was also just a genuinely lovely and well-meaning human being. Anyway, I hope that helps for anyone who, like me, was hunting for information about this small company. Thank you Simon and Ryan so so so much, you guys are awesome and I'm so happy! :)”

“Got my nostril done at Metal Morphosis Carnaby by Lara today and was super happy with my experience. Lara was super lovely and welcoming, explained everything very thoroughly and clearly and was very rigorous with cleanliness. She took time to make sure I was happy with my placement and was very sweet and patient with my pre piercing anxiety! She was super thorough in explaining the aftercare and healing process. The space was super clean, to a clinical standard, and Lara made it clear I could contact her for advice afterwards at any time. Would def recommend Lara and Metal Morphosis!”
