βExceptional staffs and the environment is nice.β
βHardik Rangholiya is really great. Explained in detail exercises and stretches that I needed to do to recover quickly . I highly recommend.β
βCame today for my 4year old sons potential allergy. Got there an hour before his appointment. Went in and was greeted by lovely smiley reception staff. (Obviously being early I expected to wait a very long time) sat down and within minutes my sons name was called to be weighed and measured, again the nurse who did this was lovely and chatty. We went and sat back down again, and minutes later were called by the dr! After seeing the dr we were told weβd need a blood test! I was told we could numb it and wait an hour or use the cold spray straight away, so off we go to have the blood test with cold spray! The 2 nurses doing it were again so lovely and explained everything that would happen. A bonus for my son was a sticker and toy! Iβm so impressed with how everything went! We were in and out of the car park before his actual appointment time! Iβm sure not every day runs as smoothly as it did this morning but Iβd like to thank everyone as it was a fantastic experience!β
βWe have fleet car insurance with this broker. We are happy with insurance cost and customer service. Strongly recommend! Thank you!β
βThey were and are still (even after counselling) supportive, caring and a big part in helping me get back on and stay on my feet. My counsellor was outstanding and the team are just superb. Thanks mind, you quite literally saved my life more than once xxβ
βExcellent care from Therapists and Dr involved with my child. They are an amazing team with infinite patience with the children, they listen to their concerns and refer to other agencies where necessary. Waiting lists are as frustrating to them as us.β
βI collapsed with a cardiac arrest in the middle of the empty countryside in May '25 and if it wasn't for the combined miracles of two cyclists (one knew CPR) coming across me, the paramedics who attended and the stunning work of the specialists at Darent Hospital emergency/cardiac facility...I wouldn't be alive now, writing this review...in tears. I owe them all my life.β
βMy loved one was an inpatient at LH for 4 months in 2023. Cherrywood Ward. Our experience of the hospital was very good. The nurses, reception, doctors are all approachable and friendly. This place is really to sort the right medication out. It was our first experience of a psychiatric hospital and a huge shock. I made a point of chatting to any patients and staff on visits, it must be a difficult job and some patients unfortunately have no family at all. Kindness costs nothing. There is a large communal area on each ward, with an outdoor courtyard. Bedrooms are small with en suite. There are occupational therapy groups for patients like walking group, music group, breakfast club, self care group, chicken group, exercise group which are all simple ideas but very enjoyable. Do not be afraid to keep calling the ward for updates. Doctors usually call back with updates. They are very short staffed due to funding but I found them to be approachable and helpful. There is a wonderful family support lady called Kat who can find out any information you need if you call her. Also a monthly CPA meeting you are invited to attend. We stayed in close contact with our loved one by phone and we visited and took them out for a few hours when well enough and also home leave for two nights. Nearest pub for lunch is The Wharf , nice reasonably priced little cafe called Lizzieβs and also the country park is good. We also took our loved one for a haircut and beauty treatments to Guys n Dolls round the corner who were absolutely amazing with her when she was so unwell.β
βA very friendly and welcoming surgery. During covid it was bit difficult to get an appointment as you had to ring within certain times now it has all changed and back to normal the reception staff are very good and competent also the nurses here are good and friendly The place shares the space with another surgery located in the building which makes parking spaces limited so if you have a early morning appointment you most probably get some parking space if not you will have to park illegally in nearby roads and hope you donβt get a good ticketβ
βI am totally mystified by the criticism posted by others. I have always found this practice, and its predecessor as The Orchard Practice to be really excellent. Helpful, patient and considerate staff, who manage to be helpful while under severe pressure much of the time. And all the doctors, nurses and other medical staff have been unfailingly polite, informative and responsive. Parking is limited which is problematic but this is hardly the fault of the Practice staff. Overall,i'm very very pleased and satisfied by the service I receive. Thanks You.β
βThe changes from the past couple of years have been life saving! They've added another 2 consultantion rooms, changed the booking system so that you can request an appointment any time during their opening hours. I never have to wait to see a doctor with my son, all requests have been answered to within an hour, I had immense support in every possible way. My son has ASD and ADHD with some other issues and they've supported us incredibly. The doctors are fantastic. They also have a physiotherapist for specialist appointments. Hats off! These changes have made the world of a difference from how it was a couple of years ago!β
βI bring a very elderly man each Friday for his leg ulcer treatment. Nurse Jay has been so good, patient, and giving advice as well as good treatment. Dennisβs leg ulcer has now healed. We would like to thank Jay, and all nursing and reception staff who have been kind and helpful to Dennis. Carol Reesβ
