We were on our way to get the Eurotunnel back to the UK when disaster struck – a flat tyre, only a few miles from the tunnel, with three tired and restless kids in the back. The thought of missing our booked crossing and being stranded was horrible. However, from the moment I called, the service was fantastic. The operator was calm and reassuring, which was exactly what I needed at that moment. She took all the details quickly and told me help was on the way. True enough, the recovery vehicle arrived in less than half an hour. The mechanic was brilliant – he got straight to work and even took time to chat with the kids, putting them at ease while he sorted the tyre. Within no time, we were back on the road. What really impressed me was the level of care. The mechanic double-checked everything and thanks to his efficiency, we even made it to the tunnel with minutes to spare. Travelling alone with three kids can be stressful at the best of times, but this experience turned a potential disaster into just a minor hiccup. I couldn’t be more grateful for the swift, professional help we received. I won’t travel without this cover again. Highly recommended.”
