“We booked this place sight unseen for a local reunion for 12 people. The owner couldn't have been more accommodating and gave discreet but friendly service even though we were all busy catching up with 30+ years of news. The food was good and catered well for vegans and vegetarians, as well as meat eaters, although a couple of the dishes were a little oversalted. Was also accessible to people with disabilities. We stayed for five hours and felt very welcome for the whole time. Recommended. Thank you Bistro Corner!”

“Fab coffee and amazing cakes! I visited this coffee shop the first time a few weeks back and they gave me some free cakes. These weren’t just any cakes, one was a cinnamon cake/muffin and omg, it was amazing. I went back a couple of times in the preceding weeks but they had sold out of these amazing cakes. I needed to get there earlier. The staff here are also super friendly. Update: September 2023 - I still visit this coffee shop every week or so and I think it might be in my top few coffee shops. The coffee is still excellent and I love stopping by.”

“It is absolutely amazing and wonderful quality of ingredients. People are so welcoming and the venue is very clean and insta-style. The price might be seemed a bit expensive compared to something like wasabi, but when you eat it, you would know why. The ingredients are so fresh and the staff never cheat on foods. Try it and you’d never be able to stop coming here. I tried Earlsfield roll, crunchy roll and tempura udon. The Earlsfield roll contains silver cod and it disappears when you put it on your mouth.”

“Read some good reviews and thought we’d try this place out. What a hidden gem in Wandsworth! Starters and mains were exceptional. Went for hot mains as it’s so cold outside. Service was impeccable. And very reasonably priced - we were amazed when we got the bill - would have been happy to have paid a lot more! Definitely will be coming back when the weather’s better to try out the sushi and the many other delicious sounding items on the menu, which was extensive. Now up there with our favourite restaurants in the area and no hesitation in recommending! Well done to the team!!!”

“I honestly never expected to eat so well in a small restaurant in a little-known street in Croydon. After leaving Gatwick airport, I searched on Google Maps for a Japanese restaurant near me that was open until 10pm, I found this one, I was very lucky. I made a big order because we were very hungry. I tried everything and I was very satisfied, especially the fried food. The place is small but well organized and clean, the service was excellent. Absolutely recommended.”

“Absolutely fabulous lunch, we have never seen such an extensive menu - I am disabled, the proprietor and a member of staff literally carried me in from the pavement into the restaurant on one of their chairs, I could not ask for such exemplary kindness and the food and the choices were out of this world! We cannot recommend this gem opposite Claygate Green more highly!”

“Delighted to recommend Hummings at Home. We used the team to help out with our daughter’s 18th birthday party at home. A pleasure to have Lewis behind the bar serving a lively group while keeping things sensible. Bouncers Chessy and Leon provided a safe space for the kids to have fun while being respectful of our home. Hummings proprietor was very attentive making sure his team arrived on time and checking they had everything they needed to do a brilliant job. All supported behind the scenes by Mahathi who expertly understood our requirements and matched the team to our needs. I would highly recommend the Hummings team to support any event in the home - helpful, flexible and very professional. Thanks guys!”

“I’ve been here twice. The first time, I got the brisket sando with duke chips which was very yummy. The second time, I got the smash burger with the mac n cheese, which was yummy too! My family had the smoked brisket and the lamb neck. I tasted those too and they were delicious. The food looked exactly like what was shown on the menu and the portion sizes were generous! Sharon was lovely and very attentive and provided excellent customer service.”

“Highly recommend Bistro 101 for brunch or dinner. I’ve eaten dinner here on several occasions, and always found that there is an interesting selection of dishes on the menu and that the food is always consistently good. Lunchtime was no different with a good choice of brunch options available. I chose egg and avocado on sourdough toast, which was delicious. We were served by Nikki, who looked after us and delivered the food quickly and efficiently.”

“My husband and I really liked the food! We ordered the rib eye steak and also the duck breast. Both are very delicious and a must-try! On top of that, we also tried the tiramisu, which was amazing! The owner is very friendly. He even gave us a complimentary chocolate almond cake that we also liked. Pretty sure we will come back here soon.”

“Great food, full of flavour and carefully put together. We get a takeaway regularly from Miga and it never fails. The staff are always super nice and friendly and the prices are really good. We regularly get spicy pork bibimbap or the chicken Katsu. The Bulgogi is really nice too. Plus the ramen is large and spicy (although I don’t remember if you can get the ramen on delivery- only collection- could be wrong though).”

“104 Restaurant by Richard Wilkins is very small (max 16 covers) but, for me, is a perfect restaurant. The food is outstanding (as good as any Michelin starred restaurant). The service was excellent, friendly and informative and there was a lovely ambience where you could enjoy the food, wine and your friends/family. I couldn't recommend it more highly!”

“My partner and I dined at Smoke & Salt to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We opted for the “Culture” tasting menu. Every dish was exquisitely presented and perfectly seasoned. All came out in good time even though it was a Saturday evening. What made it really special was the hospitality of the restaurant staff. The chef came out and welcomed us and explained each dish to us. You can tell the genuine passion they have for food at this restaurant, and every dish is made with precision and care. The atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect for us as it was a peaceful environment and we could have a conversation easily, which you don’t get with many restaurants in London! The ambience of the restaurant, the attentiveness of the staff and the quality of the food really makes for a special and unforgettable experience. Fantastic from start to finish.”

“A special meal for my birthday and it was fantastic, Tim our waiter was just brilliant. Was filling our water glasses before we even noticed, recommended drinks based on our likes. He was superb with my partner who had multiple allergies to egg milk and nuts. When a course accidentally came out with a sauce which he thought could have milk it in, he quickly made a replacement himself so we could eat together. He sadly had to go quickly at the end, so didn’t have time to thank him properly for how brilliant he was. He was credit to the Clink and HMP Brixton. Will come back for afternoon tea and hope that lovely Tim or his colleagues are working. And hope that I’m served by Tim again in the future!”

“Absolutely stunning food！Had the full tasting menu. Every single course tastes amazing！ The whole dining experience was fantastic. The amuse bouche was served in the bar area，and then we were led to the dining room. The dining tables are big and between tables it is very well spaced. The service is very professional. The environment is very well designed and decorated. Guests can watch the chefs cooking in the open kitchen. The taste of the food is complicated also very well balanced. My favourate dishes are lobster rice，quail，fish stew and the wagyu.”

“Consistently Outstanding – A Hidden Gem on Hanbury Street I’ve been a regular customer at Wok N Roll for quite some time now, and I honestly feel it’s long overdue that I properly acknowledge just how fantastic this place is. From the very first visit to my most recent one, the food has never once disappointed. It’s always fresh, flavourful, and perfectly prepared – consistently amazing every single time. What truly sets Wok N Roll apart, though, is the impeccable service. Every visit feels personal, warm, and welcoming. A special mention has to go to Masum, who always goes above and beyond to make sure we’re comfortable and happy. No request is ever too much – he’s attentive, friendly, and has a natural way of making guests feel genuinely valued. Whether it's a quick dinner or a relaxed evening out, the team makes every experience a great one. The service is as consistent as the food – top-tier, every time. I regret not taking photos of the food during my last visit, but I do have from a previous one that captures of the restaurant. Honestly, though, it’s the kind of place you need to try for yourself to really appreciate. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, warm service, and a place that treats its regulars (and newcomers!) like family.”

I also had some mash potatoes and I’ve never had mashed potato so good! It had so much flavour like olive oil and herbs. It was just too good!”
