“Authentic delicious Pakistani food. We had chicken doner with tandori nan. Chicken was so tender and flavoursome. Garlic and chilli sauces are home made as well as the bread which was the best we ever had. Highly recommended.”

“Had dinner the first day. It was so good that we came back for dinner the following day. The chicken biryani portion was generous and the taste of all the spices makes it perfect. On the following day we had the Mutton Karahi. Perfectly cooked, the mutton was tender and slightly spicy. Had it with Briyani rice. Try the Aloo Samosa, really lovely, nice spices on the potatoes. Forget the fancy hotel’s food around the area, this is the real deal, value for money.”

“We went on a Friday night for our Anniversary, the weather had been great but we sat inside and it was nice and cool. There was a DJ playing old skool RnB which was a nice touch. The staff were super friendly and we met the owner, who was really lovely and very passionate about the food. The croquette were amazing and very authentic, we also had tacos to start which were delicious. The tiramisu ( which I’m always a big fan of as a dessert) came with a Japanese twist but was inspired and also really delicious. A great spot and well worth checking out for an intimate meal, big party or even a family dinner.”

“A beautifully decorated Turkish restaurant in the heart of Harrow shopping centre. Easy ti get to by public transport and plenty of car park available. Service is good, food is yummy and staff are friendly and attentive. Prices are decent but more pricey than other Turkish restaurants. Plenty of seating space and a nice place to celebrate a special day or event.”

“The House has become a regular stop for me in Finchley. Food is delicious and service is friendly and attentive, makes you feel like family! My regular dishes include the Chicken Milanese and Lasagna. The Chicken Stroganoff is also worth mentioning, as well as the Seafood Pasta. Overall delightful atmosphere, worth the trip.”

“I recently visited Turpan Uyghur Restaurant - what a hidden gem! The food is authentic, flavorful, and made with care. Highlights were the Laghmen (hand-pulled noodles perfection), Samsa, and Polu. Cozy, welcoming vibe and genuinely delicious. Highly recommend!”

“My sister and I had such a fantastic experience at Paladar yesterday. Tucked away on a leafy, unassuming street, this gluten free restaurant blew us away. Not only was the food absolutely exquisite, but the staff are so friendly and kind. I would highly recommend branching out and trying some of the fantastic South American wines - we had a bottle of Castelar Extra Brut from Uruguay and as a champagne lover it was a 10/10. I had the tiger prawns for my main course which were juicy and delicious, and my sister had the aubergine, which was served with the most delicious black beans I’ve ever had. Even as a meat lover, I would strongly recommend ordering this meal with the green rice - it was absolutely bloody delicious. Thanks so much Paladar for being the highlight of our day, we will definitely be back!”

“Oh my word. My husband and I came here with high expectations for our anniversary. Firstly, a sincere shoutout to the friendly and highly attentive waitstaff. We reserved in advance (which I recommend doing as it gets busy!) and they had actually read my booking notes. In the notes I mentioned I was pregnant and so they double checked I was happy with the preparation and ingredients of certain dishes. The menu leans towards the spicy and salty side, but at the same time is very fragrant and aromatic. Quite addictive really! I’ve seen viral videos of that Tom Yam deluxe noodle dish so obviously we had to get it. It was delicious, but to my surprise, my favourite dish was their Naem fried rice. It’s been about a week since our visit and I’m still licking my lips thinking about it. To top everything off, we got a surprise scoop of taro ice cream. How adorable is that? Lots of love to Speedboat. We’ll be back, and definitely before our next anniversary!”

“I visited Rai for my birthday lunch as a solo diner and chose the 13-course Omakase. It was an incredible, intimate experience where the chef’s expertise really shone - each dish was beautifully crafted, and watching the skill and precision behind them made it even more special. The fish was unbelievably fresh and melted in my mouth; every course felt like a new favourite. Standouts for me were the butterfish, eel with grated black truffle, spicy scallop, and the black cod main. The service was exceptional - attentive, friendly, and made me feel very welcome dining alone. A lovely surprise was a complimentary glass of champagne and a birthday dessert with a candle, which made the whole experience extra memorable. Rai truly delivered a 5-star dining experience and made my birthday feel very special. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy a refined and beautifully thought-out omakase in London.”
