“As a huge fan of Persian & Iranian cuisine, I have to say that this place is a solid 10. The garlic and sesame naan was fragrant and deliciously paired with the juicy koobideh kebab. The rice were fragrant and the flavours enhanced when we asked for some butter to go with them. Good indoor and outdoor seating. Attentive service. Fair pricing about £25pp”

“Abruzzo in London. I've found it now! I've been looking for a place to eat Arrosticini and I've found this newly open restaurant – Orfeo restaurant. The expectations were high as I am from the region of Abruzzo and I wanted to bring my friends to try Arrosticini. From the moment of the booking, all staff was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Marco, the manager, made our dinner special. I felt I was in my home town in Abruzzo. My friends who are from different countries felt amazed by the warm Abruzzo welcoming. The food was fresh and so delicious. Finally, we ate the traditional Arrosticini served in a unique way. My vegetarian friend ate the traditional 'Pallotte Cace e Ove', she really loved it. The restaurant atmosphere was pleasant, ideal for a dinner with friends. A bonus, it is only two minutes walking from the overground. Orfeo restaurant lived up to my expectations. My friends and I will definitely come back soon. Highly recommend!”

“Superb meal with an impromptu visit before our theatre trip Service was superb and we were given some humus and toasty warm pitta breads for starters All enjoyed the meal and the fatoush is a must try plus recommend the lamb shank for meat lovers Will definitely go back with a bit more time next time and enjoy again. Doggy bag even had some tasty sugar hit dessert which was a nice half time boost while watching War Horse ( superb stage play also ).”

The Parmesan fries are such a great dish! Can’t go wrong with these. The tiramisu was such a great surprise, the presentation was so cute and it was large!”

“This place is really nice — great location and easy to find. I ordered the beef noodle soup, and it turned out much better than I expected. The broth was rich and flavorful, the beef was super tender, and the noodles had just the right texture. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal. Special shoutout to Lucy, the server. she was really friendly and attentive, kept checking in and even refilled my water without being asked. Her service definitely made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends.”

“*Café Venezia in Hounslow is a gem!* Loved their fluffy omelette and toast — great texture and super tasty. The Eggs Benedict was top-notch, perfectly done with delicious hollandaise. The handmade coffee was a highlight, smooth and rich, plus the latte art made it even better ☕️. Service was warm with big smiles and great hospitality in a cozy, inviting space. Highly recommend for chill breakfasts!”

“Wonderful stay at the Barn, thanks to Drew and Deborah for being such good hosts, and for a delicious breakfast and chat each morning. Their space is so accommodating - lots of outside space to enjoy the roaming chickens, and each of the 3 rooms has its own couch and 'living room' space so they can be independently enjoyed by guests, or collectively as we did as a group. Look forward to returning for Black Deer festival in 2022! Highly recommended.”

“I'll echo previous reviews, freshly prepared Indian food! How unusual, from the preserves served with home made poppadoms, to the beautifully seasoned mains. Just fantastic, black dal full of flavour and the goan king prawns were fabulous! The chef was also more than happy to help accommodate our need for milk free food also. Only one criticism, the goan fish curry was salty but lacked flavour I felt. Everything else was superb though, and considering the excellence everywhere else, still deserves 5 stars.”

“A real nice experience in Indian dining. Started off with the reviews of course and then the dining. The cider choice, was a koppaberg which was refreshing. Thr samosas in the chaat were complimented with channa aka chickpeas and vatiyon other accoutrements. Delicious. The murg tikka was quite good too but would have preferred fit bit more heat n the green chutney served with it. On to the main course with lamb saag and dal makhani with breads. Both ere well cooked and excellently spiced to provide a great end to the meal. Unfortunately no space for kulfi.”

“I worked in London for about two years and was staying near Tangawizi. I ate there a couple times a week many many times over that two year time frame. I absolutely love it there. The food is phenomenal and always has the highest quality ingredients. The service is exceptional as well. Eight years later, we returned to the UK for my 60th birthday and I wanted to visit them again due to the fond memories I had. Our dinner this evening was just as phenomenal as ever. The flavors and freshness of the ingredients was incredible. The King tandoori shrimp are a favorite of mine and I literally got another order for dessert rather than a normal dessert. They thought I was joking when I ordered it for dessert! I travel frequently for business and have had the opportunity to eat at many phenomenal restaurants and they are at the top of the list with the best! I’m so happy they made it through the pandemic and now celebrating 20 years. I would highly recommend Tangawizi!”

“10/10 pancakes. Our waitress Niki was extremely considerate and was quick to take our order when we got to our tables. The menu was very broad. This is my second time coming this year and there's evidently a huge difference with the variety of pancakes. Will come again, definitely!”

“I’ve spent a wonderful evening dining at Gola with my italian friends. The menu proposes a real selection of italian dishes which are excellently reproduced and served in a surprising plate up, as you can see from the pictures. We finally get to try the famous Cacio & Pepe by Gola which didn’t disappoint me and my italian friends. Another must-try is the Orecchiette alle cime di rapa; and as starters the Focaccia, the Fried polenta and the Burrata. We also tasted a bottle of Southern Italian red wine which was kindly suggested by the staff, since the wine selection is pretty good and it was hard to make a choice. The staff and the service in general were very welcoming in respect of true italian tradition. I totally recommend this place to everyone that appreciate the real italian cuisine and culture, for a dinner between friends, family or with a loved one. The menu also proposes vegan options and the restaurant is children and pet friendly. I will surely come back to have again some wonderful pasta and to try the meat-based dishes which sounded amazing too.”

“Went for a meal with my wife and child on a Saturday evening. Good food and very well prepared. The food was quick which helped as our son was hungry and it came hot from the kitchen. Enjoyed the meal and Priya, our server, was excellent. The pizza bread starter she recommended was very nice!”

“What a great place to eat, we were a party of 4 and one of out party was from Argentina so I wanted an authentic experience which we got! The owner has their own range of Malbec which goes superbly with the various cuts of meat cooked to perfection! If you love steak, you definitely have to visit this place!”

“Just why this small and friendly restaurant isn’t packed out every night is a mystery!!! Spread the word - it is fantastic!!! We went with friends a week ago to this Mauritian fusion restaurant for the first time and it was like discovering a treasure hidden in plain sight. We were greeted warmly by a very friendly waitress and had our pick of tables as there were only two other tables taken. My wife and I shared a starter of Black Tiger Prawn Fusion which was absolutely fantastic. We then both had a Daube de Poulet for our mains. I cannot begin to describe just how good this was - the chicken was moist, tender and yet still firm and the sauce was amazing. We option to vary the heat level of the spices was good as well. With a couple of glasses of wine the bill came to less than £30/head - an absolute bargain for this quality of food. The menu offers a suitably wide selection that should appeal to all tastes whilst enabling everything to be freshly cooked to order. We looked at other dishes coming out of the kitchen and they all looked very appetising indeed. All I can say is that you should go to this restaurant - it will be something worth while I promise you. And then tell all your friends about it and make sure they go too - they will thank you!!!”

“The menu, all written in French (proof of quality!), is well balanced with choices for every mouth. The service has the perfect pace thabks to the great staff (also good as recommending wine!). The food itself is nicely cooked and presented, slight down point on the sides that would benefit from more attention (I went for the vegatables medley). Prices are adequate, especially when compared to London. A must go if you are after a good fine cuisine restaurant in the area!”

“Lovely neighbourhood pizzeria - amazing wood fired pizzas! But the pasta I had was properly top-notch too. The beef ragu had obviously had a lot of time and love spent on it. Great value too. We’re lucky to live nearby!”
