“We visited here on a Saturday around 3pm for a celebration dinner. We booked in advance for inside seating. There is outside seating which is perfect on a sunny date as right next to the river. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with their recommendations for food and drinks. We all opted for three courses, they do have weekend set Menus which is worth a look. All the meals arrived in perfect timing, they gave enough time between each meal so it wasn’t rushed. Everything was cooked beautifully and a really enjoyable meal. We will definitely be visiting again!”

“Very ‘authentic’ HK style dimsum - love it here! A little bit pricey, but hey it is Kingston after all! Lucky to have this spot as a local restaurant. They have changed owner / name of the restaurant recently- FYI. Fav dishes so far - the siu mai, har gau, pork buns, custard cream buns and the pork pastry. Decent beef hor fun.”

“Wow!!! This is a fantastic and convenient spot to get sushi whenever you want it. This is because this sushi gourmet place has a large range of options and choice. The choices vary from the simplicity of a Nigiri to salads and big rolls. It has options of small and £10 boxes of nigiri and other sushi rolls and bigger portions of £20 that are more complicated rolls. It has deliveroo as takeaway and delivery service. However, it’s in Sainsbury’s in the centre right at the back of the store. This doesn’t mean that it has a bigger difference on this gourmet style and other Japanese restaurant. It only contains sushi and not brothers or other Japanese dishes as it’s only a Sushi Gourmet. When I go there I always get the nigiri rolls because they’re fresh and simple and also delicious. I’ve also been to other Japanese authentic restaurants and it’s different regarding the taste of the sushi because it’s not a chain but a single restaurant. However it’s not that big of a difference regarding freshness.”

“Not had fish and chips for years. Looked up where to go as my son requested a bday treat while keeping up his lent restrictions. Our meals were all very good, especially the size and batter on the fish. Was crispy, not wet or stodgy at all. The owner Sam was very friendly, welcoming and went out of his way to accommodate us. He even threw in extra chips and a really lovely fresh salad for free. My mum was fascinated by how clean the shop was too. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others. All over great experience from start to finish!!”

The service is attentive, respectful, and genuinely caring without ever feeling rushed. The food is absolutely delicious, and my favorite dish was the Pacha Tashreeb. It was rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, with amazing depth of taste. The bread soaked up the broth beautifully, making every bite comforting and satisfying. You can really tell it’s made with care and authentic tradition. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and ideal for families or casual dining. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the quality is excellent. I highly recommend Ranya Restaurant, especially if you want to try an outstanding Pacha Tashreeb. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Location is good and parking is reasonable near by. We parked at the carpark by premier inn and ncp, open car park. We were going to see Craig David in Circuit and wanted to eat before. This is literally opposite the station,a few minutes walk from circuit. We had eaten here before but not for early dinner. It was fantastic then and cannot fault anything. The service is amazing and we did walk in so expected to wait . It was busy but we did not wait long. They cleared a table for 2 and we looked at the menu within minutes. We were not rushed at all. The drinks came straight away and we were ready to order. Every thing is fresh and tasty. The price is very reasonable. Highly recommended for all”

Nafí and team were very helpful from the start, helping with menu sampling, organising menu adaptations for vegan, food allergies etc, professional and friendly service on the day. The food was exceptional! Pretty much all guests commented on how delicious the food was. Also reasonably priced compared to other services I had looked at. Strongly recommend!”
