“Very nice coffee shop within the court yard of the Oakland Rise apartments. It's very hidden away from anyone outside the apartment area. The atmosphere inside is a very nice, slightly industrial setting with an open floor area where small events are held. It was quiet during my visit, with some music playing in the background. The coffee is good, and there is an option for plant milk. There are also some vegan options for some small food items. The staff is very nice. A true hidden gem.”

“Onceamonthcleaning clean my carpets twice a year, once at spring time and once in the autumn. We have a small baby who is just learning to walk and hygiene is very important to me because she is on the floor most of the time. Also cleaning my carpets extends their life! Onceamonthcleaning do a great job and use baby friendly products, which are great, my carpets are nice and clean and smell lovely and fresh once cleaned! They are friendly, prompt, with good customer service and most importantly with affordable prices for a smashing job they provide. I would recommend them to anyone!”

“Walked in late lunch. Ordered bacon and egg soft bap. After debating which bread I wanted roll, sandwich or soft bap. Has got to be one of the best and reasonably priced lunch break for a long time. Staff very friendly and willing to help. And will literally go out of their way to accommodate if possible. Amazing service and food”

“Incredible customer service from the establishment. Despite deliveroo being terrible, I called up the takeaway and they sorted it out right away (without deliveroo involved). I would recommend ordering directly from them. Pizzas were incredible as well and came within 30 mins of sorting out deliveroo's mess. Worth the wait and definitely will be going back again.”

“My partner and I dined at Smoke & Salt to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We opted for the “Culture” tasting menu. Every dish was exquisitely presented and perfectly seasoned. All came out in good time even though it was a Saturday evening. What made it really special was the hospitality of the restaurant staff. The chef came out and welcomed us and explained each dish to us. You can tell the genuine passion they have for food at this restaurant, and every dish is made with precision and care. The atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect for us as it was a peaceful environment and we could have a conversation easily, which you don’t get with many restaurants in London! The ambience of the restaurant, the attentiveness of the staff and the quality of the food really makes for a special and unforgettable experience. Fantastic from start to finish.”

“Visited Dishoom for the first time on a solo trip to London a few weeks ago - firstly I want to say thank you to the staff who were all so lovely. Greg who looked after me and was very helpful with describing the menu, the man who seated me and remembered my name to say bye to as I left and the lady who insisted I takeaway a cup of Chai to take advantage of the bottomlessness! My visit was too rushed (which was my own fault for accepting an earlier table they needed back by a certain time) so I look forward to a more leisurely visit when I next go to one closer to me haha but I will definitely return as the food was as good as everyone tells you and there's so many other things I'd like to try. They have a good alcohol-free selection too. It's a very busy place but it's understandable why it's so popular and you should definitely book a table if you go. Thanks guys! :)”

“I’ve lived in the area all my life and only just visiting for the first time. I can genuinely say I will be back with the misses very often. The atmosphere is chill, a little loud with some kids but that’s to be expected. Service was nice, very respectful and friendly staff. The food was to die for! I was going to opt for a full English as a safe option but risked it with Turkish Eggs. WOW - it was absolutely worth it and very flavourful full. The hash browns are also the best we’ve ever had! Even we don't live nearby we make sure every few months we go there. The team is very friendly and they make you feel at home. The design of the restaurant is very cute too. “What a lovely place. From first booking our afternoon tea to arriving, Kelly was great. Our groups food intolerances were catered for extremely well & everyone enjoyed a delicious & plentiful afternoon tea. We had lovely fresh sandwiches, warm soft scones, not dry or crumbly & a large variety of delicious cakes all served in authentic crockery, a nice touch. Even our dog was welcomed just as much as we were. We had to take our leftovers home as we couldn't finish all of the delicious cakes, a welcomed treat later on. Thank you to Kelly & Eastbrookend tea rooms for a lovely afternoon tea. We'll be back & would recommend!”

“Well, this little gem is a must if you can find it. I don’t say this in a negative fashion, it is just not in a densely populated retail area. It sits in a neighborhood adjacent to LHR. What makes it special is its homey feel and the locals that patronize it. It is old, really old. Like 1534 old. If you love plane spotting, well you will be in Heaven as planes take of over your head. Sadly, we didn’t have time to order food but our cask conditioned ales hit the spot before our flight back home. We will be back. It is a must if you are staying the night near the airport and have some time to visit.”
