“We had a lovely evening for my son’s 25th birthday. Our table for 6 was set up by the window as requested. From the moment we arrived we had a warm welcome and service levels were excellent. My sons lamb shank madras was in his words “probably the best meal he has ever had” (highly recommended ) if you are not sure about what to have the family owners will always suggest a dish to try, even making bespoke dishes too. The icing on the cake is you can bring your own alcoholic drinks with no corkage added, they even put them in the fridge for you and bring the glasses.”

Fresh fish not frozen, crispy batter was perfect Chips are frozen but proper chips and not those skinny things so ofyen served in pubs, garden peas or mushy peas and served with a wedge of lemon.
