“We ordered from Uber eats and the food was amazing. Chilli paneer is a "must have". We thought the curries had their unique taste. Not the taste of the standard curry sauce you find in every single East London Indian restaurant regardless of the ingredients. The food was fresh, not greasy, delivered hot and delicious. I wonder how we missed this restaurant all these days.”

“Great experience, we went with 11 people and it was a lovely meal. We all had starters which came out pretty much at the same time and then all our mains came out at the same time. We used Tesco vouchers and had no issue when using them. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the meal. I would come back during lunch time.”

“What a delightful oasis this coffee shop is located in Loughton. It's a family run business and a great place to drop into for a coffee and a chat. Not only that the food is great....breakfast and lunch both 1st class. If u fancy a salt beef sandwich u will not get better anywhere in the south of England. If u have never called into Bishops, then you must give it a go....u will not be disappointed.”

I had the pleasure of trying the egg shakshuka, potato rosti, avocado smash toast, matcha cappuccino, and pancakes. Among these, the egg shakshuka and matcha cappuccino stood out as my favorites. The flavors were rich and satisfying, and the presentation was top-notch. I also want to mention the fantastic staff who were incredibly helpful with the menu and provided quick, attentive service throughout my visit.”

My buddy chose the lasagna, served piping hot with golden fries and a fresh side salad – classic comfort food done right. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, with generous portions and bold flavors. The staff were a real highlight – super friendly, attentive, and full of warmth. Joseph, in particular, stood out, greeting us with a genuine smile and keeping everything running smoothly, even as the place hummed with lunchtime diners. “We held my son's 4th birthday here on Sunday and the whole experience from start to finish was brilliant. The owners are so helpful, organised and make everything very easy. On the day I didn't have to think of anything but bringing the cake and balloons - they served a great buffet for the kids, cut the cake and packed it into the party bags. My son and his friends had an amazing time together and I can't thank the team here enough. Highly recommend.”

“I have been here a few times since it has opened and every time I have been the staff and service has been outstanding. A special shout-out to our lovely waitress Sophie. All the staff here are so lovely but Sophie was just so nice and accommodating. It was my friends birthday and all the waitresses went above and beyond to make it so special. We arrived at 5pm and didn't leave the restaurant till after 10pm. They made us feel welcome and at home and nothing was too much to ask. Another mention for the great cocktails that were made for us and were actually given complimentary. I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you to all at Dim T. Also the food was amazing. “Best Subway I have been into. Light and airy, very welcoming and clean, with the great smell of the freshly baked bread! Phenomenal work from Rajeev, a really personable manager of the store who supported us with our coeliac (gluten free intolerant party) whilst navigating multiple online delivery orders at the same time. Rajeev is a star and very grateful for the service - really made our experience beyond pleasant, the best Subway I have ever visited! The ratio of the salad to filling and sauce (plentiful southwest!!!) was phenomenal. Thank you Rajeev. Never knew 4pm on a Sunday could be so busy!! :) really loved the waffle fries and hash browns too, able to give lots of sauce. Thank you Rajeev”

“The Hub has by far the best served pint in Debden. I was there for a post wedding ceremony get together and the quality of service and beer was top notch. Awesome value for money also. They were also serving food and it seemed very popular and also looked to be very generous portions. I will definitely visit again and eat also.”

“I had an absolutely delicious pizza from the Loughton Papa Johns. It was prepared and delivered with care in an expected time frame. The pizza was delivered hot being almost fresh from the oven. Even the tomato base was succulent and tasty. Definitely one of the best pizzas I've had outside of Italy.”
