The homemade lasagna, straight from a family recipe, was absolute perfection—rich, flavourful, and clearly made with love. The wine list was superb, and our server's recommendation was the perfect pairing. We finished with a fantastic dessert that was the ideal end to the meal. “Not had fish and chips for years. Looked up where to go as my son requested a bday treat while keeping up his lent restrictions. Our meals were all very good, especially the size and batter on the fish. Was crispy, not wet or stodgy at all. The owner Sam was very friendly, welcoming and went out of his way to accommodate us. He even threw in extra chips and a really lovely fresh salad for free. My mum was fascinated by how clean the shop was too. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others. “Never tried schnitzel food first time went to this restaurant n truly loved The sizzling Hawain the best in love juicy crispy overload, and the Mushroom Arancini is a delicious mix of crispy and creamy - a golden shell with a rich, earthy mushroom risotto centre. The schnitzel comes out perfectly golden-lightly breaded, tender inside, and seasoned just right. No greasy heaviness, just I at classic crackle when you cut into it. “I’d been wanting to try this restaurant for ages, ever since it came highly recommended by my Italian friends. The crust did not disappoint. While I usually prefer Neapolitan style—super fluffy around the edges—the crisp bite of the outer crust here, paired with the earthy depth of the dough, almost made me reconsider my pizza loyalties. We started with the focaccia, which was as soft as a pillow—only much more delicious. It came with a beetroot balsamic, a completely new discovery for me, and one I’ll now be hunting down for my pantry. If I had one note, it’s that the pizza portions are generous; I only managed about two-thirds before admitting defeat.”
